WHO WE ARE

Apprentify Group is a portfolio of six companies, each with its own culture, personality and people. Across the group, we support around 10,000 learners a year and we're scaling fast, building out our data curriculum to meet growing employer demand. We need someone ready to turn data concepts, statistical techniques and industry tools into training that actually lands with learners who've never touched a dashboard before.

THE QUICK FACTS

  • Location: Remote-first, UK. Occasional travel for team events or customer meetings.

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent

  • Start: As soon as possible

  • Must hold (or be able to pass) an Enhanced DBS check

  • Programmes: Data Technician (level 3) and Data Analyst (level 4)

LIFE IN THE ROLE

You'll be the one standing in front of the room (virtual), turning data analytics theory into training sessions apprentices actually remember. That means delivering structured teaching across data collection, cleaning, analysis and visualisation and bringing case studies and applied activities to life in the room.

You'll translate statistical techniques, data management principles and industry-standard tools into workplace-ready learning, then facilitate it live to mixed groups and individuals who are all starting from different places. You'll work closely with curriculum and quality teams to keep sessions current and with Development Coaches to make sure delivery and coaching join up into one coherent learner experience.

TEAM & CULTURE

You'll join the Delivery team, results-focused, value-driven culture contributors who move fast and support each other.

Reports to: Performance Manager

Delivery Management style: Clear expectations, genuine autonomy over how you get there

What we value:

  • Curiosity over perfection

  • Progress over polish

  • People who take ownership without being asked

THE HONEST HARD BIT

This is a fast-scaling, occasionally ambiguous environment. Session plans change, cohorts vary wildly in starting ability, and you'll be expected to hold a room's attention on statistics at 9am on a Tuesday. If you need total predictability to do your best work, this isn't it.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

You can flex delivery so it works whether you've got 2 learners or 20

You can translate technical data concepts for non-technical learners without losing the substance
You're comfortable adapting delivery on the fly when a cohort needs something different
You're comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-changing environment
You enjoy being challenged to keep growing yourself

This is NOT for you if:
✘ Your data knowledge is theoretical and you can't explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
✘ You prefer slow, predictable work
✘ You've never trained others before
✘ You need a fully structured corporate environment to do your best work

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in data analytics, computer science, statistics/mathematics or equivalent

  • Proven experience delivering training sessions or facilitation, in group and 1-2-1 settings

  • Strong presentation, facilitation and learning-engagement skills — confident holding a room, virtual or in-person

  • Ability to translate statistical and data concepts into clear, structured, workplace-ready training content

  • Confidence using digital learning platforms and virtual classroom tools

  • Understanding of Safeguarding, Prevent and Equality & Diversity responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and work-based learning

  • Must hold (or be able to pass) an Enhanced DBS check

Nice to have: industry-recognised qualifications such as BCS Data Analyst, Microsoft (Power BI, Azure Data) or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, knowledge of End-Point Assessment processes for Data Tech Level 3 & Data Analyst Level 4, understanding of Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework, a teaching, training or assessing qualification, and understanding of the use of AI in data analytics.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive salary

  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service

  • Private medical insurance

  • Birthday Leave + Volunteer Day

  • Hybrid working with regular collaboration days in our Wilmslow HQ

  • Ongoing professional development and leadership support

  • Enhanced family leave policies

  • Access to mental health and wellbeing support

  • Regular company-wide events and team socials

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS

  • Initial recruiter call (30 minutes): A conversation about your experience and the role, to ensure genuine alignment before moving forward.

  • Micro-teach interview (45 minutes): You'll prepare and deliver a 15-minute coaching session, followed by a Q&A.

  • Competency-based interview (1 hour): A conversation with the hiring team about your data experience and your training and coaching approach.

The postholder will be required to undergo Safer Recruitment check prior to starting work, including an appropriate level of DBS check (dependent on role) and a reference check.
