Full Stack Engineer

The Role

• Lead and develop inclusive, high-performing engineering teams, setting clear objectives and fostering succession planning.
• Own end-to-end delivery for critical software, including requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and reliability.
• Raise engineering excellence and resilience through best practices, automation, and secure-by-design principles.
• Partner with product, design, and operations to translate outcomes into measurable technical plans, guiding architecture modernization and cloud adoption.
• Represent engineering in program reviews and governance forums, ensuring compliance, risk management, and operational excellence.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Proven leadership of software engineering teams building distributed systems and microservices in agile environments.
• Deep Java experience (Spring) and architectural patterns for scalable, observable, testable systems, with strong API design skills.
• Strong DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, telemetry, containers (Docker), and cloud experience.
• Hands-on AI development using modern tools and IDEs, with experience integrating AI into product workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive continuous improvement.
• Financial services background with risk and controls in regulated environments preferred.
