IT Engineer Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a tech-savvy IT & AI Development Intern who is interested in both IT operations and software/web development using modern AI tools.

The ideal candidate should not only be comfortable troubleshooting computers and networking issues but should also have a strong interest in coding, website development, AI-assisted programming, automation, and building practical digital solutions for the company.

This is a hands-on role where the intern will get exposure to both IT infrastructure and real-world software development projects.

Key Responsibilities - IT Support & Infrastructure

• Provide basic technical support to employees for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, LAN, and other IT equipment.
• Install and configure operating systems and software.
• Assist with computer setup, user accounts, peripherals, and IT assets.
• Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT asset and equipment records.
• Assist with data backup, system security, and routine IT maintenance.

Coding & Website Development

• Develop, modify, and maintain company websites and web applications.
• Write and understand code using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, React, or other relevant frameworks.
• Build new website pages, landing pages, forms, dashboards, and internal tools.
• Fix bugs, improve website functionality, and troubleshoot coding issues.
• Work with databases and APIs where required.
• Integrate third-party tools and services into websites and applications.
• Optimize websites for speed, usability, responsiveness, and basic SEO.
• Convert business requirements into functional digital solutions.

AI-Assisted Development

• Use AI coding and development tools to accelerate software and website development.
• Use AI tools to generate, understand, debug, improve, and optimize code.
• Research and implement AI-based solutions for repetitive business processes.
• Explore AI APIs and integrations for websites and internal applications.
• Build simple AI-powered tools, chatbots, automation systems, or business utilities.
• Evaluate new AI development tools and identify ways they can improve company productivity.
• Be capable of understanding AI-generated code rather than simply copying and deploying it.

Automation & Internal Tools

• Identify repetitive manual processes that can be automated.
• Develop small internal applications and automation tools.
• Create dashboards, forms, trackers, and workflow solutions.
• Integrate APIs and online services where required.
• Work with the team to improve existing digital systems.

Required Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming/coding.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
• Basic understanding of websites, domains, hosting, databases, and APIs.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub is an advantage.
• Interest in AI-assisted coding and AI development tools.
• Good problem-solving and logical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies independently.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.

Who We Are Looking For

We are not looking for someone who only knows how to use AI tools.

We are looking for a candidate who can think logically, understand code, use AI effectively, troubleshoot problems, and actually build working websites, applications, and automation solutions with the help of AI.

Candidates with a GitHub profile, personal website, college project, freelance project, or other coding projects are encouraged to share them.

Internship Details

Duration: 6 Months

Important: Candidates must be willing to complete the full 6-month internship period.
