Duties

• Develop and refine AI models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other machine learning tools to solve complex problems across various domains.
• Conduct statistical analysis and research to inform model training, evaluation, and deployment strategies.
• Implement scalable data pipelines utilizing ETL processes, SQL databases, Hadoop, Spark, and cloud services like AWS to handle large datasets efficiently.
• Design and optimize database schemas for effective data storage and retrieval in support of AI projects.
• Apply natural language processing techniques for language understanding tasks and generative AI applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into production environments ensuring scalability and robustness.
• Perform model evaluation using statistical modeling tools and machine learning frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability before deployment.
• Utilize data mining and data analytics techniques to extract insights that inform AI development efforts.
• Support model deployment on cloud platforms using machine learning cloud services while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, R, Java, C, and Bash scripting for developing AI algorithms and data processing workflows.
• Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and related tools for model training and evaluation.
• Deep understanding of big data systems including Hadoop, Spark implementation, and scalable cloud-based solutions like AWS.
• Expertise in statistical analysis tools for research purposes as well as predictive modeling analysis.
• Knowledge of database design principles along with hands-on experience with SQL databases and Looker for data visualization.
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), generative AI models, and related AI implementation techniques.
• Experience with model deployment strategies ensuring scalability across big data systems in cloud environments.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis for research purposes using SAS or similar tools to support AI development efforts.
• Understanding of quantum engineering concepts is a plus for advanced research initiatives in AI innovation.
