Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with AWS, Jenkins, Docker, Python scripting, and CI/CD automation, along with expertise in infrastructure automation and production support.

This role requires someone who can improve deployment processes, automate repetitive tasks, ensure platform reliability, and work closely with development teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions. The original role emphasizes managing AWS infrastructure across environments, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure across Development, QA, UAT and Production environments.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.

• Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to simplify infrastructure and deployment activities.

• Containerize applications using Docker and support Kubernetes/ECS deployments where applicable.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Monitor application and infrastructure health using CloudWatch, Grafana, Splunk, New Relic and other monitoring tools.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and improve platform reliability.

• Implement security best practices including IAM, Secrets Management, SSL certificate management and vulnerability remediation.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and release quality.

• Support production operations, incident management, capacity planning and on-call activities.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

• Strong Python scripting skills for automation.

• Experience working with Docker and container-based deployments.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience supporting highly available production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional Certification.

• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional Certification.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills.
