Job Description
Aqovia is hunting for a sharp, communicative Business Analyst to serve as the critical analytical bridge between our client stakeholders and engineering squads. In this role, you will be deeply responsible for gathering, documenting, and modeling functional and technical requirements for our wide-scale digital LMS platform. Your systematic analysis will directly shape the integration of custom features and AI learning tools, ensuring the final system perfectly matches client requirements.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Facilitate detailed requirement gathering workshops with stakeholders, institutional leaders, and internal software product owners.</li><li>
Translate complex, high-level operational workflows into structured functional requirement documents (FRDs) and technical specifications.</li><li>
Author crisp, unambiguous agile user stories, acceptance criteria, and system use cases within project management environments (Jira/Confluence).</li><li>
Map current-state vs. target-state user administrative workflows, emphasizing user journey optimization within the Moodle ecosystem.</li><li>
Perform gap analysis exercises and evaluate system configuration updates to assess overall platform compliance with client rules.</li><li>
Manage and document system scope-change requests, assessing potential downstream impacts on core platform features and timeline milestones.</li></ul>
Skills and Experience
Essential Requirements<ul><li>
4&ndash;5 years of dedicated experience operating as a Software Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.</li><li>
Exceptional ability to transform ambiguous, high-level client discussions into rigorous, clean technical requirements and data flow diagrams.</li><li>
Mastery over agile business analysis concepts, including writing precise user stories, managing product backlogs, and mapping user processes.</li><li>
Professional communication skills are essential. Candidates must possess excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.</li></ul>
Nice to Have<ul><li>
Prior experience delivering requirements analysis for major Educational Technology (EdTech) deployments, virtual learning networks, or Moodle environments.</li><li>
Background working on digitized software systems or transformation projects.</li><li>
Relevant professional business analysis certifications (such as IIBA CCBA/CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Certified Scrum Product Owner).</li></ul>

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with specialised expertise in EdTech and LMS ecosystems to join our software engineering division.
In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between academic workflows and technical implementation. You will support high-velocity development squads building expansive digital learning platforms and pivotal digital transformation initiatives, designing API's, converting complex business needs into precise technical documentation and actionable user stories.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You Will Do</h3><ul><li>
Requirements &amp; Architecture: Elicit requirements and write precise user stories (with acceptance criteria and Gherkin scenarios) in Jira/Confluence.</li><li>

System Integration: Design integrations between Moodle, bespoke PHP/Laravel environments, and third-party systems (SIS, financial gateways).</li><li>

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer to drive superior quality standards across our digital learning platform, spanning Moodle environments, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and innovative AI-based educational tools.
In this automation-focused role, you will architect and scale robust testing frameworks for backend microservices, .NET, PHP/Laravel architectures, and modern EdTech interfaces.
What You Will Do<ul><li>
Automation &amp; Test Engineering: Build and maintain automation infrastructures for Laravel backends and Moodle integrations using Pest, PHPUnit, Playwright, or Cypress.</li><li>

The Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the development, core customisation, and implementation of our enterprise-grade, Educational Technology (EdTech) and Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
In this role, you will be a key hands-on contributor to a high-performance, multi-tenant application ecosystem built on PHP (Laravel) and deeply integrated with a highly customised Moodle core. You will build clean, modular features and optimise database performance to handle massive concurrent student traffic spikes.
What You Will Do<ul><li>
PHP &amp; Laravel Development: Write clean, testable, and modular features using PHP 8.x and Laravel that can be programmatically toggled per tenant/institution.</li><li>
Moodle Core Integration: Build and maintain the application abstraction layer connecting custom tenant features with Moodle core database models and Web Services APIs.</li><li>
Multi-Tenant Architecture: Implement robust database isolation, data separation rules, and permission layers to ensure total security of student records across differing organisations.</li><li>
Performance Optimisation: Optimise database schemas and queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and implement high-performance caching layers (Redis/Memcached) to minimise database locks during high-traffic exam or registration periods.</li><li>
Integrations &amp; Standards: Build secure RESTful APIs and webhooks to connect the LMS with Student Information Systems (SIS) and localised payment gateways using EdTech standards like LTI, SCORM, or xAPI.</li><li>
Codebase Stewardship: Adhere to engineering standards, design patterns, and testing protocols across the PHP ecosystem while participating in regular code reviews.</li></ul>
What We Are Looking For
Required Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>
PHP &amp; Laravel Expertise: Solid production-grade experience developing, optimising, and maintaining enterprise-scale web applications via Laravel.</li><li>
Moodle Core Competency: Hands-on experience developing within Moodle, including custom plugin architectures, web services creation, hooks, and a firm command over its underlying database schema.</li><li>
Software Design: Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns (MVC, Repository, Event-Driven patterns) for clean, maintainable code.</li><li>
Database &amp; Cache Management: Strong experience writing complex SQL, optimising indexes, troubleshooting deadlocks, and working with Redis.</li><li>
Ownership Mindset: High accountability, exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure, and excellent communication skills.</li></ul>
Nice-to-Haves:<ul><li>
Experience with public sector education deployments or Higher Education Commission (HEC) digital initiatives in Pakistan.</li><li>
