Working as a core member of our team in Saudi Arabia, you will investigate maritime insurance claims and work with our clients and underwriters to provide adjustments and recommendations.</p><p><b>
What will you be doing?</b></p><ul><li>
Investigate maritime insurance claims involving vessel damage, machinery failures, acts of good, cargo losses, or other technical issues.</li><li>
Interpret marine insurance policies to help determine the responsibility for claims.</li><li>
Analyse technical reports from surveyors and prepare detailed loss assessment reports.</li><li>
Quantify damages and calculate settlement offers with clients, surveyors, and other stakeholders.</li><li>
Negotiate all settlement offers and ensure alignment with ABL Group&rsquo;s policies.</li><li>
Collaborate with technical experts, surveyors, and legal professionals as required.</li><li>
Ensure all claims are processed in accordance with insurance standards, adjusting practices, company policies, and legal requirements.</li><li>
Keep up to date with maritime industry developments, technical standards, and regulatory changes.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of all claims, inspections, and correspondence.</li></ul><p><b>
What are we looking for?</b></p><p>
Ideally, you will have a background in loss adjusting or claiming handling with experience of working on maritime claims. A background in maritime law is beneficial. More specifically, we are looking for the following:</p><ul><li>
A loss adjusting certification.</li><li>
1 - 5 years&rsquo; experience of handling marine, cargo, hull &amp; machinery, or inland marine claims.</li><li>
Knowledge of maritime technical systems, machinery, and vessel operations.</li><li>
Experience with claim management software and MS Office Suite.</li></ul><p><b>
