AMS is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher for 6th-8th Grades to join our team at the AMS South Mountain Campus for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This role works closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure that all students receive the accommodations, services, and support necessary to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.</li><li>

Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student services and compliance requirements.</li><li>
Ensure all special education services are delivered in accordance with IDEA and Arizona Department of Education guidelines.</li></ul>
