About Ace Accountancy ServicesWe're a growing UK accountancy practice working with sole traders and limited companies up to &pound;2m turnover. We handle the full range of compliance work &mdash; tax returns, accounts, VAT, bookkeeping &mdash; and we're building a strong remote team to support that growth.The RoleThis is a senior position with a management component. You'll be responsible for your own client portfolio and for overseeing a small team of accountants working on compliance tasks. You need to know your stuff technically and be able to manage deadlines and quality across multiple files simultaneously.What You'll Be Doing- Managing a team of accountants across client accounts- Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax returns, and statutory accounts- Bookkeeping on Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and Capium- Preparation and filing of VAT returns- Preparation of monthly management accounts- Client communication in clear, professional EnglishWhat We Need- Minimum 5 years' UK tax and accounting experience &mdash; UK experience is non-negotiable- F6/TX (or equivalent) as a minimum; ATX is a bonus- Strong working knowledge of at least two of: Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Capium- Excellent written and spoken English- Experience managing or reviewing others' workPermanent role with a 3-month probationary period. Salary negotiated based on experience.
