This is a full-time, hourly level position.<br>

<b>Position Summary:</b><br>
We have an opening at facility in Decatur, IL for a Warehouse General Laborer.
<br>
<br>
<b>Job Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>
Safely and efficiently work with loaders and unloaders to position product where needed</li><li>
Perform various warehouse duties</li><li>
Stage orders to outbound shipments</li><li>
Periodically operate a forklift</li><li>
Housekeeping duties</li><li>
Assist with damage control</li><li>
Organize pallets</li><li>
Report all injuries, illnesses, near misses, damage or other issues timely</li></ul><b>
Job Requirements</b><ul><li>
Actively participate in all ADM required Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance programs</li><li>
Reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents</li><li>
Safely operate forklift to arrange product within the warehouse</li><li>
Pulling orders per customer requests, including palletizing bags and preparing the pallet for shipment. Must be done in such a way as to reduce the chance of damage in transit</li><li>
Accurately fill orders and document lot numbers for each bag and each product.</li><li>
Shrink wrap and stage orders for shipment</li><li>
Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending upon identified needs of the operations</li><li>
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team</li><li>
Assist in maintaining the housekeeping program (cleaning), including required written documentation</li><li>
Filtering face piece respirator may be required for certain tasks</li><li>
Assist in efficient warehousing and organization of products.</li><li>
Attempt to keep products clear of dust, debris, and safe stacking of pallets is required.</li><li>
Assist in light maintenance which may include using ladders, hand tools, and power tools.</li><li>

Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures</li><li>
Ability to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and Holidays</li></ul><b>
Physical Requirements</b><ul><li>
Standing for prolonged periods of time</li><li>
Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs</li><li>
Must be able to repetitively lift 50 pound bags when pulling orders or working damage control</li></ul>

   Develop and implement advanced characterization techniques to understand the structure/function and performance of feed ingredients, intermediates and protein extrudates in food applications - Conduct hands-on analytical testing to characterize materials
