Location: Londonderry, New Hampshire
Work Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift, M-F schedule
For six months of the year (spring/summer), the department operates on a 9/80 work schedule (a two-workweek schedule of eight 9-hour days, one 8-hour day, and one day off) and the remainder of the year the regular work schedule is 7:00AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday.

We're in search of a Welder/Fabricator to join our team!
The Welder/Fabricator plays a critical role in the production of large, industrial mixing equipment. This position requires a skilled professional who is proficient in cutting, prepping, grinding, and welding stainless steel materials. The Welder/fabricator will interpret complex blueprints and drawings to cut, machine, bend, and TIG weld metals to precise specifications, ensuring the highest quality and accuracy.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver, capable of multi-tasking and maintaining a high focus on quality throughout the fabrication process. This role demands a strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team.
Working primarily with steel materials, the Welder/Fabricator must demonstrate initiative, craftsmanship, and the ability to deliver top-tier results in a dynamic manufacturing environment. 
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Maintains a clean and safe work area and complies with the company's safety requirements while meeting time estimates as assigned to each job</li><li>
Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job</li><li>
Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, heating, and welding techniques and equipment</li><li>
Monitors the welding, heating, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage</li><li>
Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded</li><li>
Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area</li><li>
Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered</li><li>
Practice 6S principles daily</li><li>
Complete all applicable documentation for current operations</li><li>
Machining and weld prepping of raw materials; ability to operate a band saw and Bridgeport-style milling machine.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul> 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>
Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding including designs, uses, maintenance and repair</li><li>
Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, drawings, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models, and blueprints</li><li>
Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms</li><li>
Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments</li><li>
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>
Must be able to weld components that are vertical, horizonal, or overhead</li><li>
Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work</li><li>
Must be able to see details at close range</li><li>
Ability to lift 50+ pounds</li><li>
Demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues and co-workers, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a supportive diverse team environment</li></ul> 
Credentials and Experience:<ul><li>
High School graduate or GED equivalent</li><li>
Completion of a formal apprenticeship OR successful completion of an in-company, three-year training program required or;</li><li>
5+ years tig welding experience
</li><li>3+ years fabrication experience</li></ul>
