We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency, contract compliance, and accurate project reporting.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications</li><li>Prepare tender and contract documents</li><li>Analyze quotations and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors</li><li>Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow throughout project execution</li><li>Prepare progress valuations, variation orders, and payment certificates</li><li>Evaluate subcontractor claims and final accounts</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients regarding commercial matters</li><li>Conduct site visits to verify work progress and measurements</li><li>Maintain proper documentation for contracts, variations, and cost records</li><li>Assist in procurement and material cost analysis</li><li>Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company procedures</li><li>Prepare monthly cost reports and project financial updates</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li><li>Mandatory proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MS Project) for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost control, project planning, and contract administration within construction, infrastructure, geotechnical, or engineering projects.</li><li>Strong knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, progress tracking, cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.</li><li>Proven experience in preparing BOQs, tender documents, contract administration, and project cost management.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.</li><li>Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, project schedules, and project documentation.</li><li>Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience working in Qatar or GCC countries</li><li>Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is an advantage</li><li>Valid QID and transferable visa preferred</li></ul>Job Details:<ul><li>Position: Quantity Surveyor</li><li>Location: Doha, Qatar</li><li>Employment Type: Full-Time</li><li>Salary: Competitive salary package based on experience</li></ul>Pay: QAR6,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MS Project) software?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
