ACTS Qatar is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager with the following qualifications and expertiseKey ResponsibilitiesQuality Management<ul><li>Oversee and maintain the laboratory&rsquo;s quality management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant standards.</li><li>Conduct internal audits, manage external assessments, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.</li><li>Develop and monitor quality performance indicators and promote continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure accurate documentation, calibration, and verification of laboratory equipment and processes.</li></ul>Health &amp; Safety Management<ul><li>Develop and implement health and safety policies, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.</li><li>Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure safe laboratory practices, including chemical handling, waste management, and use of PPE.</li><li>Deliver training programs on laboratory safety, emergency preparedness, and incident reporting.</li><li>Investigate accidents/incidents and ensure corrective actions are taken.</li></ul>Environmental Management<ul><li>Oversee proper disposal and management of hazardous and non-hazardous laboratory waste.</li><li>Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.</li><li>Promote resource efficiency (energy, water, and chemical use) within the lab.</li></ul>Leadership &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Lead QHSE awareness initiatives and provide guidance to laboratory staff.</li><li>Liaise with regulatory authorities, accreditation bodies, and clients on QHSE matters.</li><li>Prepare and present QHSE performance reports to management.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field (Master&rsquo;s preferred).</li><li>Minimum 7 years of experience in QHSE, with at least 3 years in a laboratory environment.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.</li><li>Certified Lead Auditor in one or more management systems (preferred).</li><li>Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols, chemical handling, and risk management.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to train, mentor, and influence staff at all levels.</li><li>With a valid QID and should be ready to transfer sponsorship</li><li>Immeidate joiner</li></ul>Key Competencies<ul><li>Attention to detail and analytical mindset.</li><li>Proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.</li><li>Strong organizational and documentation skills.</li><li>Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>

QHSE MANAGER

ACTS, Qatar is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Draftsman cum QPRO Permit coordinator to support project teams in managing Qatar Permit to Work (QPRO) applications and preparing technical drawings. The role requires expertise in coordinating with authorities, ensuring compliance with QPRO regulations, and producing accurate CAD drawings for construction.Drafting / Design Support:<ul><li>Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD or relevant software.</li><li>Review and revise drawings based on project specifications and consultant/client feedback.</li><li>Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper documentation control.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers to develop an efficient drawing.</li></ul>Permit Coordination (QPRO):<ul><li>Prepare, submit, and track QPRO permit applications for construction and fit-out works.</li><li>Liaise with authorities, consultants, and clients to ensure timely approval of permits.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all QPRO requirements, safety standards, and legal obligations.</li><li>Maintain an updated record of permits, approvals, renewals, and expiries.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and HSE teams for permit-related requirements.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in QPRO permit coordination within Qatar is mandatory.</li><li>Strong knowledge of local regulations, standards, and approval procedures.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and other drafting software.</li><li>At least with 4 years of experience in Qatar</li><li>Excellent communication and coordination skills in English</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.</li><li>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</li><li>Immediate Joiner</li><li>Must hold a valid QID and able to transfer his sponsorship.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to QAR5,000.00 per month
