Our growing practice is looking to add a Part-Time responsible Dental Assistant who's interested in afternoons and Fridays (2 to 3 per month). Are you organized, self-motivated, full of energy and always looking to learn new things? We are looking FOR YOU!Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare patients for diagnosis and treatment</li><li>Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures which will also include: orthodontics, implants &amp; oral surgery (implant knowledge is required)</li><li>Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment</li><li>Take dental radiographs (x-rays)CBCT, digital radiographs and intra oral scanning</li><li>Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment</li><li>Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures</li><li>Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health</li><li>Perform various office tasks as necessary</li></ul>Minimum Education and Experience<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Dental Certification is a Plus</li><li>Implant knowledge is required</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Dental Assisting: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>License/Certificate (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
