 Job Description
 
 
 
 The role supports customer data ecosystem by helping ensure accurate data processing, regulatory compliance, and cross-team coordination. It focuses on data quality, governance, and driving clarity across systems, teams, and business rules. This individual helps maintain strong, reliable customer data a foundation for compliant communication, operational efficiency, and enterprise wide customer experience improvements.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 1. Data Operations &amp; Compliance
 
 
 
 Help maintain customer data accuracy across platforms.
 
 
 Support regulatory compliance (such as TCPA and CPRA) and customer preference rules.
 
 
 Perform periodic and ad-hoc audits.
 
 
 Validate and enhance business rules related to customer preferences, consent, suppression logic, and data integrity.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 2. Data Quality Monitoring
 
 
 
 Identify data anomalies or inconsistencies and help drive resolution with IT and vendor teams.
 
 
 Use SQL for querying, validating, and troubleshooting data flows.
 
 
 Assist in ongoing efforts to improve data integrity.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 3. Documentation &amp; Requirements
 
 
 
 Maintain simple, clear documentation of business rules, workflows, and cross system logic.
 
 
 Support requirement gathering for small enhancements and fixes.
 
 
 Answer data questions and support requests from internal Business Units and external parties.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 4. Project Coordination
 
 
 
 Coordinate tasks across internal teams and partners.
 
 
 Help track deadlines, meeting notes, and action items for teams initiatives.

 What you&rsquo;ll be doing as a Software Engineer:
 
 
 
 In this role you&rsquo;ll design, develop and test software that creates the network capabilities for a combat management system containing operator consoles, radar systems and optical sensor systems. The team is responsible for the entire development chain: requirements analysis, development, testing, validation and demonstrating the current status of the product.
 
 
 
 
 
 The role lies within our client's software engineering department, and more specifically the CMS (Combat Management System) Infrastructure team, which drives the development of cutting-edge combat and information management systems for naval vessels. Their expertise extends to seamless integration with sensor and weapon systems, alongside the creation of advanced sensor processing applications.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 What you need to be successful as a Software Engineer:

 Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, IT Service Management, System &amp; Network Engineering
 
 
 or comparable

 Minimum three years of work experience in a similar position
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent Python skills (OOP, functional programming)

 Experience with building pipelines and supporting tooling (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven, Jira)
 </li>
 <li>
 Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience maintaining software across Operating System releases
 </li>
 <li>
 Infrastructure as Code &gt; Experience with Ansible, certification or demonstrable knowledge is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Network technologies - experience like routing, switching, OSPF, multicast and firewalling is a plus

 Over de rol
 
 
 
 Vanuit de locatie van onze opdrachtgever ondersteunen wij vanuit Akkodis het Statement of Work-team bij de invulling van specialistische softwarecapaciteit. Binnen deze opdracht werk je mee aan de ontwikkeling van software voor Combat Management Systems: systemen die worden gebruikt op marineschepen en die zorgen voor de integratie van onder andere operator consoles, radarsystemen, optische sensoren en andere kritische systemen.
 
 
 
 
 
 Je komt terecht binnen het CMS Infrastructure team. Dit team is verantwoordelijk voor software die de netwerkcapaciteiten van het Combat Management System mogelijk maakt. Denk hierbij aan softwareontwikkeling, infrastructuurautomatisering, build pipelines, systeemintegratie, testen en validatie binnen een technisch complexe omgeving.
 
 
 
 
 
 In deze rol werk je niet alleen aan code, maar draag je bij aan de gehele ontwikkelketen: van requirementsanalyse tot ontwikkeling, testen, validatie en het aantoonbaar maken van de productstatus.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

 Ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en testen van software voor netwerk- en infrastructuurfunctionaliteiten binnen Combat Management Systems;

 Sterke ervaring met Python;

 Ervaring met object-oriented programming en/of functional programming;

 Ervaring met build pipelines en tooling zoals GitLab, Jenkins, Maven en Jira;
