What You'll Do</b></h3><p><b>
Payroll Administration</b></p><ul><li>
Process bi-weekly payroll using automated systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies</li><li>
Review and resolve payroll discrepancies, including pay, benefits, and timekeeping issues</li><li>
Manage garnishments, deferred compensation, and other payroll-related transactions</li><li>
Prepare and maintain payroll reports and ensure compliance with federal and state tax filings</li></ul><p><b>
Accounting &amp; Financial Support</b></p><ul><li>
Perform general ledger entries, reconciliations, and employee withholding transmittals</li><li>
Support gift fund accounting and required state reporting (e.g., Indiana Department of Workforce Development)</li><li>
Assist with grant accounting and reporting</li></ul><p><b>
Cash &amp; Treasury Management</b></p><ul><li>
Support cash handling and credit card revenue processes</li><li>
Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies between financial records and third-party processors</li><li>
Ensure internal controls are followed for all financial transactions</li></ul><p><b>
Accounts Payable</b></p><ul><li>
Manage vendor payments, including documentation review, approvals, and accurate coding</li><li>
Maintain vendor records within the general ledger system</li><li>
Process checks and reconcile vendor statements</li></ul><p><b>
Additional Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Provide backup support for pension and annuity records (INPRS)</li><li>
Assist with year-end financial processes and reporting deadlines</li><li>

<div><p>Join our Allen County Public Library's Georgetown Branch as a 28-hour Part-Time Branch Assistant. You will immerse yourself in a world where literacy and learning come alive! This onsite position not only allows you to support your community but also offers the chance to work in a vibrant, fun-filled environment that values teamwork and inclusion. <b>Starting pay is 14.05 per hour and up based on experience.</b> <b>The schedule is 28-hours, working Monday 9-6, Tuesdays OFF, Wednesdays 12:15-9:15, Thursdays 12:15-9:15, Friday 9:15-6:15 (every 3rd Saturday rotates with Friday).</b></p><p>

As the 28-hour Part-Time Branch Assistant at the Georgetown Branch, you'll play a pivotal role in connecting patrons with the resources they need! Your day will be filled with exciting interactions as you assist patrons in using library materials, checking items in and out, and helping them acquire requested items. You'll also work with teens and children daily, help patrons establish new library cards or replace lost, and keep an eye out for any returned items needing attention.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

We're looking for a <b>Library at Home Supervisor</b> to lead and grow a service that brings books, resources, and meaningful connection directly to community members who can't visit us in person. This role is part leader, part relationship-builder, and part hands-on librarian-perfect for someone who is passionate about access, outreach, and making a tangible difference in people's lives.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You'll Do</b></h3><p>
As the Library at Home Supervisor, you'll guide a dedicated team while also staying closely connected to the people we serve.</p><ul><li>
Lead and support Library at Home staff, including scheduling, coaching, and professional development</li><li>
Coordinate and deliver services to homebound patrons and residential facilities across Allen County</li><li>
Build strong partnerships with senior living communities, care facilities, and community organizations</li><li>
Shape and continuously improve Library at Home services, collections, and procedures</li><li>
Help ensure consistent, high-quality service by stepping in to provide direct service when needed</li><li>
Collaborate across departments on outreach initiatives, training, and programming</li><li>

Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>

Continued employment in this position requires obtaining Indiana Public Librarian Certification at the LC5 level within three (3) years of hire. The LC5 certification requires completion of nine (9) college credit hours in Library Science coursework.</b></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Work Environment</b></h3><p>
This role blends office work with regular travel throughout Allen County, including visits to homes, residential communities, and healthcare facilities. The position also involves lifting and transporting library materials.</p><p><b>
