In this behind-the-scenes role, you'll help make sure books and materials are ready and waiting for the people who need them. It's a great fit for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in our large downtown library during the morning hours.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What you'll do</h3><ul><li>
Retrieve and prepare hold items from throughout the building and storage areas</li><li>
Search for missing or misplaced materials</li><li>
Sort and organize items with accuracy and care</li><li>
Help keep materials moving so patrons have timely access to what they're looking for</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What we're looking for</h3><ul><li>
Strong attention to detail</li><li>
Comfortable working independently for much of your shift</li><li>
Reliable, self-motivated, and organized</li><li>
Basic computer skills</li><li>
A friendly, service-oriented mindset</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
