Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>
Always exemplify the Alpine safety culture and serve as a role model for fellow employees in pursuit of an incident-free workplace.</li><li>
Monitors stock levels to ensure adequate inventory.</li><li>
Performs follow up on late deliveries and expedites shipments to support manufacturing and after-market sales targets</li><li>
Reviews purchase requisitions for proper authorization.</li><li>
Builds and maintains relationships with existing suppliers.</li><li>
Resolves order discrepancies with suppliers</li><li>
Collaborates with warehouse staff to manage inventory inflow and outflow</li><li>
Analyzes purchasing patterns and suggest cost saving opportunities</li><li>
Compile status reports according to the needs of the business</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications<ul><li>
Associates degree in related discipline, or advanced degree candidates will be considered based on experience. A combination of education and directly related experience will be considered in lieu of an AS degree</li><li>
1-3 years of experience</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, customers, and suppliers</li><li>
Experience with Excel and Microsoft office</li><li>
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
BS degree in related discipline</li><li>
APICS CSCP and/or CPIM certification</li><li>
Proven background in the understanding of the supply chain process in a manufacturing organization.</li><li>
Advanced experience with Excel and Microsoft office</li></ul>
