We&rsquo;re looking for an entry‑level Staff Accountant who has recently graduated (or is graduating soon) with a degree in Accounting or a related field and is excited to start their career in a hands‑on, in‑office environment.
This role is designed for someone who wants to learn by doing. You&rsquo;ll receive training and mentorship from experienced accounting team members while gaining exposure to core accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, commissions, and month‑end reporting.
If you&rsquo;re organized, curious, and comfortable learning new systems (including Xero and Monday), this is a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
Learn Core Accounting Operations<ul><li>
Help set-up and process accounts payable, including entering invoices, supporting approvals, and weekly payments</li><li>
Learn how to perform bank and credit card reconciliations in Xero</li><li>
Assist with accounts receivable tasks such as set-up, monthly invoicing, communication, account updates, credits, and payment troubleshooting</li><li>
Set-up, and assist with monthly commission calculations and partner support</li></ul>
Month‑End Close &amp; Reporting<ul><li>
Support the month‑end close process and financial statement preparation for a minimum of three entities.</li><li>
Assist with consolidated reporting</li><li>
Help prepare documentation needed for audits, reviews and annual tax returns</li></ul> 

Requirements 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>
Recent graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience (internships welcome)</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>
Comfortable working fully in-office and learning multiple systems</li><li>
Excel proficiency; experience with accounting software (Xero preferred)</li></ul>
