Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Web Developer to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.
The key responsibilities of this Web Developer include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Design, code, and modify the company website and web applications, striving for visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with designers to ensure that visual design intent is met and effectively communicated to the end-users.</li><li>
Offer improvements to technical SEO and website structure.</li><li>
Integrate third-party APls seamlessly into the web platform while ensuring the integrity and security of data.</li><li>
Develop and integrate custom-built APls to extend the functionality and interactivity of the website.</li><li>
Create and maintain software documentation, ensuring that all team members can understand and work with your code, and or make content updates.</li><li>
Engage closely with the marketing and communications teams to understand content goals and apply advanced SEO techniques to maximize search visibility.</li><li>
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends, especially in SEO and web standards, and apply them to operations and activities.</li><li>
Experiment with and implement Al agents, workflow automation, and integration of Al APls into existing systems</li><li>
Work with data pipelines, APls, and orchestration tools to enable Al-assisted applications</li></ul>

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:<div><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.</li><li>
3+ years of experience in web development with an emphasis on user-centric design.</li><li>
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical team members.</li><li>
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.</li><li>
Experience in PHP, C# .NET, ASP.NET MVC is essential.</li><li>
Proficiency with relational database systems, including SQL Server, object-oriented programming, and web application programming.</li><li>
Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and mobile standards.</li><li>
Demonstrated expertise in SEO, with a deep understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.</li><li>
Experience with responsive and adaptive design</li><li>
Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Joomla.</li><li>
Advanced knowledge of common web practices and standards, ensuring optimal user experience across platforms.</li><li>
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.</li><li>
Understanding and implementing security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and Azure AD for identity management and authentication is a plus.</li><li>
A solid understanding of database design is highly regarded.?</li></ul></div>

Web Developer

<div>The Buyer procures critical materials, parts, equipment, supplies and services for the organization. The Buyer recommends, leads projects, and procures products and services where the financial impact to the Company is substantial. The Buyer ensures that products and services purchased are of excellent quality, procured at a competitive price and delivered as promised.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Coordinate procurement of required products and services from intent to purchase through delivery</li><li>
Determine the requirements of assigned commodities, including technical specifications, quality and schedule requirements</li><li>
Request and evaluate quotes for the commodities as needed</li><li>
Negotiate best value and terms with suppliers to achieve the lowest possible cost that meet quality, quantity and schedule requirements</li><li>
Generate purchase orders that comply with company, customer, contractual and government regulations</li></ul><ul><li>
Manage and maintain required documentation for purchasing, including orders, amendments and shipping notices</li><li>
Apply Total Cost of Acquisition principle to short and long term buying decisions</li><li>
Realign purchase order schedules to support demand with lowest impact on DSI while maintaining cost and productivity continuity objectives</li><li>
Support the bid and proposal process</li><li>
Develop strong supplier relationships for assigned commodities</li><li>
Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives to ensure favorable PPV</li><li>
Identify risk and escalate issues when appropriate for mitigation</li><li>
Attend meetings with key stakeholders</li><li>
Develop favorable supplier agreements for assigned commodities</li><li>
Identify and escalate process improvements</li><li>
Meet with supplier representatives and conduct quarterly business reviews with key suppliers</li><li>
Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to support corrective action plans</li><li>
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor</li></ul>
Job Requirements<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business or a technical discipline</li><li>
Minimum 3-5 years successful purchasing experience</li><li>
Minimum 2 years successful negotiation experience</li><li>
APICS or ISM certification preferred</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software</li><li>
