ABOUT THE ROLE</b></div>

<div>Lead and responsible for the organization&rsquo;s energy management activities for all locations in North America. Analyze consumption/usage and implement strategies to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Key responsibilities include managing utility power procurement, developing sustainability initiatives, forecasting energy budgets, performing tariff reviews, hedging to limit price risk, and energy contract negotiations.</div>

<div><b>WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
</b></div><div><ul><li>Develop and manage the organization&rsquo;s energy budget, which includes tracking energy consumption and costs and budget forecasting, and advises on energy commodity purchasing.</li>
<li>Creates internal policies and procedures to optimize the energy-efficient use and operations of the organization&rsquo;s facilities and equipment.</li>
<li>Have a keen knowledge and have experieince participating in regioinal ISOs such as PJM, MISO,ERCOT, etc.</li>
<li>Understanding of financial and physical energy market pricing and experience with purchasing / hedging future markets</li>
<li>Act as lead negotiator to execute complex power contracts with large cross-functional teams that optimise benefits to the operating company (e.g. performance-based contracts) while implementing contracts in business units.</li>
<li> In depth knowledge of fuel markets, specifically natrual gas, that will drive energy costs</li>
<li>Drive, develop and execute negotiation strategy with suppliers while managing supplier performance on a structured basis.</li>
<li>Lead cross-functional teams through supplier selection and recommendation activities, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, selection criteria, RFI, and RFP development and analysis. Provide subject matter expertise while working with stakeholders and Legal in the negotiation of vendor contracts.</li>
<li>Maintains central energy database that includes utility and operational data; oversees energy data entry and energy data analysis activities, including oversight of energy management and information systems.</li>
<li>Identify programs to participate in to assist in reducing cost or obtaining benefits pending sites&amp;#39; flexibilty.Example: load shedding, demand response, etc.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain relationships with internal senior stakeholders (such as Directors, VP, CEO&rsquo;s and Executives), key suppliers, and third-party sourcing partners to enable accelerated achievement of business objectives.</li>
<li>Achieve targets for strategic sourcing activities; spend coverage, compliance rates and benefits generation, track implementation, compliance and benefits against targets of selected categories.</li>
<li>Identify potential cost savings, spend reduction, supplier consolidation and standardization opportunities in assigned Categories.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains contact with federal and state agencies and monitors state and national energy policy trends.</li>
<li>Tracks, analyzes, and acts on state and federal energy legislation and regulations that impact the organization.</li>
<li> Attends training sessions, conferences, and workshops to keep abreast of current practices, programs, and legal issues</li>
<li> Define benefit targets and ensure targets and Key Performance Indicators are achieved on a set portfolio of spend categories.</li>
<li>Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.</li>

Education:</b> Bachelor's degree<br>
<b>Additional Education Preferred:</b> Master's degreeField of Study Preferred: 8-12 years experience<br>
-Minimum 5 years in procurement role (category management, sourcing, operations) with exposure to supply chain management, strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards -Energy background and experience highly preferred</p>
<p><b>
Required Work Experience:</b> Purchasing, Business, or Management<br>
<b>Required Computer and Software Skills: </b>Proficient/Advanced Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel and PPT; Google Mail and Drive; basic SAP knowledge or equivalent<br>

ABOUT THE ROLE</b></p>

The purpose of this position is to plan, direct and coordinate the manufacturing processes of assigned areas which include Production, and Quality Control through the utilization of data and in accordance with company objectives, driving Safety, Quality, Delivery and optimizing cost. Develop and maintain an effective organization through teammate engagement and capability building. Also owns Strategy deployment and implementation of systematic continuous improvement in Production including capital projects to support continuous improvement efforts.</p><br>

Supervision &ndash; 30%<br>
<ul><li>Direct the Production team in the preparation and implementation of operating plans and strategies consistent with agreed to business plan. The Production Team consists of Production Supervisors (3), and indirect hourly reports in Production, and Quality Control.</li><li>Plan the use of facilities, equipment, and personnel to meet current and future production requirements including department budgets and guidelines, plant layout and improvement, and capital and expenditure programs.</li><li>Manage the Production departments with the appropriate communications of goals, performance feedback, corrective actions, rewards and recognition to provide optimum teammate relations.</li><li>Evaluate team needs as needed, i.e., staffing levels, equipment or tools and provide support by removing barriers for improvement and progress.</li><li>Facilitate and manage project teams</li><li>Training and development of career path planning for all teammates.</li><li>Lead, mentor and facilitate leaders in developing and planning of production and personnel</li><li>Develop the continuous improvement plan and facilitate the meetings with Production team, prioritize team activities.</li></ul></div><div><br>
LEAN Manufacturing/Production &ndash; 25%<br>
<ul><li>Learn, teach and drive the LEAN Manufacturing System through Gemba.</li><li>Maintain and improve product income levels through waste reduction, cost reduction, Kaizen events and cost improvement plans.</li><li>Identify and record any problems relating to product, process and quality systems. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through Production team and designated channels.</li><li>Have the authority and responsibility to ensure that processes / machinery utilized in the manufacturing process and the verification process are capable of meeting both customer and quality plan expectations.</li><li>Oversee production process while ensuring teams are focused on producing product of the highest quality in a safe and effective manner.</li><li>Lead and Teach teammates primarily through implementation of continuous improvement thinking principles and practices.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement through application of a variety of tools: TPM, Value Stream Management, LEAN diagnosis/strategy and objective setting, Kanban, SMED, team problem solving, Kaizen, etc.</li><li>Coordinates the Plant 5-S, Asset Sustainability, PSM and Standards driven Process programs in all departments.</li></ul></div><div><br>
Quality &ndash; 20%<br>
<ul><li>Develop and/or evaluate programs designed to improve the manufacturing performance in Quality.</li><li>Provide, implement and administer quality assurance and engineering control functions to ensure product reliability and conformance to customer specifications in the most effective and economical manner possible.</li><li>Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality management systems.</li><li>Control further processing, delivery or installations of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.</li><li>Represent the needs of the customer in internal functions in addressing quality system requirements.</li><li>Define, document, maintain and continuously improve, if required, the plant&rsquo;s quality policy relevant to plant&rsquo;s goals and expectations and the needs of its customers.</li></ul></div><div><br>
