 Planning and Organising:

 To comply with all statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety licensing and provide all necessary safety equipment required for work to be carried out efficiently and safely.

 Plan and manage all preventative maintenance work throughout all areas.
 </li>

 Continually monitor the responsible use of energy in the hotel, and implement measures resulting in energy cost savings.

 Assist to prepare the Engineering budget for the property and provide the Engineering input into hotel strategic and operational planning exercises.
 
 
 </li>

 Administration

 Liaise with HR over all employee matters including recruitment and interviewing.

 Control all payroll and business expenditure of the department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Submit daily and monthly report as requested by Director of Engineering.
 </li>

 Submit a monthly report for the equipment preventive maintenance system.

 Maintenance
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Provide in-house mechanical and electrical servicing, repair and maintenance using well-trained, presentable personnel carrying out maintenance works in an efficient, discreet and guest friendly manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Carry out continuous inspections to ensure the highest level of guest comfort is maintained and that all services are in proper working condition.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all maintenance requests are prioritised and are dealt with in an efficient manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop a team of technically proficient and generally helpful technicians to carry out all maintenance and repair work to standard with technical specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist at all Project stages on the small and major projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records and compliance of service contract.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide associate technical training through a yearly plan approved by the Director of Engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Following up the risk assessment comments related to the department and plan for action after getting approval of the Director of Engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the building is on shape and take the routine daily inspection for public areas and service areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Following up the environmental program related to the Green Globe audit.

 Qualifications

 The Chief Engineer must speak fluent English

 Certified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

 Must have not less than five years&rsquo; operating experience in a hotel engineering department.

 The Social Media Assistant / Content Creator is responsible for ensuring that all the social media and is handled in an efficient manner.  Social media content creation and planning. Ability to create engaging and impactful content for hotel&rsquo;s social media channels and work together with photographers, videographers and creatives to create content.
