<div><p><b>Central Patient Engagement Specialist</b><br>

We are looking for Central Patient Engagement Specialists to play an important role at AndHealth.</p><div><b>
What you&rsquo;ll do in the role:</b></div><ul><li>
Performs duties as including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for accuracy.</li><li>
Assists and supports inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
</li><li>Greet and assist customers at the pharmacy counter and over the phone.</li><li>
Handle prescription pickups and payments while following HIPAA and cash handling policies.</li><li>
Balance retail pharmacy production and specialty patient needs within workflow.</li><li>
Proactively engage with patients living with chronic health conditions to complete benefits verification and assist with identifying appropriate secondary coverage.</li><li>
Complete insurance verification and medication coverage determinations, and work with providers to address formulary restrictions.</li><li>
Assist with the completion of prior authorizations or appeals necessary to ensure medication access for patients.</li><li>
Regularly contact or communicate with patients regarding current medication utilizations and ongoing needs, communicating regularly with in-house or contract pharmacies.</li><li>
Complete routine reassessment of patients&rsquo; medication utilization and identify concerns or side effects patients may be experiencing.</li><li>
Consult with pharmacists or providers regarding all clinical needs of patients, routing all clinical interventions or counseling to a pharmacist or appropriate licensed clinician to complete.</li><li>
Assist patients with scheduling prescriptions, fills, or deliveries.</li><li>
Document all patient communication in specialty pharmacy software.</li><li>
Generate reports routinely to identify new patients, upcoming medication needs, and adherence-related data.</li><li>
Complete health questionnaires with patients when needed onsite, leveraging tablets and other technologies.</li><li>
Assist patients with installing and logging into the AndHealth app on their mobile devices.</li><li>
Manage patient medical referrals for specialty care.</li><li>
Other responsibilities as needed.</li></ul><div><br>
<b>
Education &amp; Licensure Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma required.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is preferred.</li><li>
Certified or Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of OH required.</li><li>
Nationally certified - PTCB or ExCPT required or obtained within 6 months of hire.</li><li>
Must be willing to obtain and maintain licenses or certifications in multiple states.</li></ul><div><br>
<b>
Other Skills or Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
3+ years of pharmacy experience is preferred.</li><li>
Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple things simultaneously.</li><li>
Comfortable with technology and the ability to adapt to new systems.</li><li>
The position may require some travel. Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.</li><li>
Must be organized and able to work independently.</li><li>

Additional Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.</li><li>
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or Blood Titer proving immunity.</li><li>
Varicella - (2) documented doses or Blood Titer proving.</li><li>
Hep B3 Series.</li><li>
(Flu) Influenza required.</li><li>
COVID Vaccine required.</li><li>
