Production Lab CourierPart-time Production Lab Courier (20&ndash;25 hrs/week) &ndash; Oakland, CA AnimalBiome is an Oakland-based biotech company improving gut health for cats and dogs through microbiome science. We&rsquo;re hiring a part-time courier to pick up donations from local donor homes and return them to our Oakland lab, plus clean/disinfect courier supplies (ice packs, donor coolers) and keep the courier supply area stocked and organized.Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, as assigned between 8:30 - 9:30am until route is complete (approx. 12-20 hours/week)What you&rsquo;ll do<ul><li>Pick up bagged donations from donor homes and deliver to our Oakland lab</li><li>Provide friendly, professional service to donor families</li><li>Communicate updates via Slack during your route</li><li>Clean and disinfect courier supplies (ice packs, donor coolers, reusable materials) following SOPs</li><li>Keep courier supplies organized, stocked, and ready for daily routes</li><li>Drive your personal vehicle ~30&ndash;50 miles/day (mileage reimbursement provided)</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Reliable personal vehicle + valid driver&rsquo;s license (must pass DMV + background check)</li><li>Comfortable driving/parking around the East Bay (including parallel parking)</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for shifts, and navigate stairs/uneven paths at homes</li><li>Strong communication, attention to detail, and basic tech skills (Slack, phone/tablet)</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: iPad use, customer service experience, familiarity with East Bay, Google Sheets.Notes: To be considered, applicants must answer all of the screening questions associated with this application.Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid sick time</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have a reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance?
