You shall have proactive customer driven approach, demonstrating full ownership of BMS/EPMS projects, incorporating the design, software, graphics, installation and commissioning of building automation systems.Responsibilities:&middot; Implementing BMS technical solutions for client projects using the organisation&rsquo;s BMS/EMS software and hardware platform&middot; Preparation of technical submittals (point schedules, system architectures, schematics, panel drawings, bill of material sequence of operations, Integration documents, FAT procedures, method statements, O&amp; M manuals, Training manual etc) in respect to the company&rsquo;s engineering standards&middot; Carry out Panel FAT and software FAT.&middot; To manage Site installations and sub-contractors with the support of Project Manager and Lead Engineers.&middot; To commission solutions as part of customer orders incorporating the software, graphics, installation, and commissioning of building management control systems and third-party integration.&middot; Writing and commissioning controller software through Function Block Editor&middot; Configuring and development of end user graphics to represent the building controls.&middot; Configure BMS systems &ndash; setting up servers and network. Integration to other system via Modbus, Bacnet, MQTT etc.&middot; To pre-commission control panels, field devices onto new and existing systems&middot; To commission controllers, networks and field devices into a complete control system&middot; To integrate third party systems onto BMS systems&middot; To configure and commission graphics and to document commissioning progress, site reports and assist with Operations and Maintenance manuals&middot; To handover and demonstrate the completed system to customer/consultant&middot; Participate in meetings with customers, consultants, contractors, and commissioning agents.&middot; Ensure all engineering/Technical Issues or Risks are recorded and communicated to Lead Engineer and project manager.&middot; Work in close collaboration with customer&rsquo;s project teams, consultants, main contractor, 3rd party vendors, Project Managers &amp; technical leaders for sub-parts to understand the project milestones &amp; deliverables and contribute to the overall profitability of projects and to achieve high level of customer satisfaction&middot; To ensure a safe and healthy working environment for themselves and others, at office or site locations. Operating to site requirements, Project Method statements and risk assessments, Health &amp; Safety SystemsEssential Requirements:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.&middot; Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in BMS, HVAC, or Controls / Automation- Schneider Electric EBO and AS-P system experience is preferred.&middot; Previous experience working with highly complex BMS control solutions- Experience in data center industry is preferred.&middot; Knowledge of HVAC applications including Chiller Systems, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil units, Computer Room Air Handlers, Mechanical ventilation units, Sanitary and Plumbing, Fire Alarm, Low voltage, EPMS Applications for Medium/High Voltage Electrical systems, ATS, Generator, UPS and other miscellaneous systems&middot; Robust knowledge of BMS controls and HVAC with ideally some knowledge of Power management systems.&middot; Clear understanding of integration of Building Systems Protocols like BACnet, modbus, MQTT etc and IP Infrastructure&middot; Excellent communication skills and ability to work both autonomously or as a member of a team&middot; Desire to build a long-term career by learning and developing technical knowledge and skills.&middot; Flexible to travel.&middot; Available to work from project site on long term assignments.&middot; Valid UAE driving licence.&middot; Possess Abu Dhabi Visa Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per monthExperience:<ul><li>work experience in BMS, HVAC, or Controls / Automation: 3 years (Required)</li><li>Building Systems Protocols like BACnet, modbus, MQTT: 3 years (Required)</li><li>Schneider Electric EBO and AS-P system : 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>UAE driving licence (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

ANOTECH is the subsidiary of the Group delivering ALTEN's Engineering Services in Middle East and Asia.As a Substation Automation &amp; SCADA Engineer, your role will be focused on the effective technical delivery of Substation Automation Systems (SAS), SCADA, and Power Management System (PMS) projects. You shall demonstrate a proactive, customer-focused approach, taking ownership of engineering, design, integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities for digital substations, industrial automation systems, and critical power infrastructure projects.Responsibilities:&middot; Implement Substation Automation and SCADA technical solutions for utility, oil &amp; gas, and data center projects using approved hardware and software platforms.&middot; Prepare technical submittals including system architectures, communication network diagrams, control philosophies, I/O lists, FAT/SAT procedures, engineering drawings, bill of materials, method statements, O&amp;M manuals, and training documentation.&middot; Design, configure, test, and commission SCADA platforms including the organisation's EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO) and Power SCADA Operation (PSO).&middot; Develop, configure, and troubleshoot PLC applications using Schneider's Quantum, M340, M580, and Siemens S7 PLCs.&middot; Implement and validate Power Management System (PMS) functions including Load Shedding, Load Sharing, Generator Synchronization, and Power Monitoring.&middot; Configure and commission IEC 61850-based Substation Automation Systems and integrate Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), Protection Relays, RTUs, and Energy Meters.&middot; Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols including IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus, and OPC.&middot; Design, configure, and validate industrial network architectures utilizing PRP, HSR, RSTP, VLANs, and Industrial Ethernet technologies.&middot; Configure and troubleshoot industrial networking equipment such as Hirschmann and Siemens managed switches.&middot; Execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), site commissioning, and system performance validation activities.&middot; Perform system troubleshooting and root cause analysis for SCADA, PLC, communication, networking, and field device-related issues.&middot; Integrate third-party systems including protection relays, energy management systems, metering systems, and distributed control systems.&middot; Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, commissioning workshops, and project progress reviews.&middot; Support implementation of OT Cybersecurity requirements in accordance with IEC/ISA 62443 and Industrial Automation and Control System (IACS) concepts.&middot; Configure and support cybersecurity components including Firewalls, IDS, Syslog Servers, and Windows Domain Administration.&middot; Produce site reports, commissioning reports, technical documentation, and project close-out deliverables.&middot; Ensure all engineering risks, technical issues, and project concerns are identified, documented, and escalated appropriately.&middot; Work closely with customers, consultants, EPC contractors, project managers, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.&middot; Ensure compliance with project safety requirements, method statements, risk assessments, and health &amp; safety regulations.Essential Requirements:&middot; Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation &amp; Control Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.&middot; Minimum of 2&ndash;8 years of relevant work experience in Substation Automation Systems (SAS), SCADA, Power Management Systems (PMS), Industrial Automation, or Protection &amp; Control Systems.&middot; Strong hands-on experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO) or Power SCADA Operation (PSO).&middot; Experience with Schneider Quantum, M340, M580, and/or Siemens S7 PLCs.&middot; Proven experience with IEC 61850 Digital Substations, Protection Relays, IED integration, and RTU systems.&middot; Strong understanding of Load Shedding, Load Sharing, and Power Management Systems (PMS).&middot; Experience with industrial communication protocols including IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus, and OPC.&middot; Hands-on experience with industrial networking technologies including PRP, HSR, RSTP, VLAN, and Industrial Ethernet architectures.&middot; Experience configuring and troubleshooting Hirschmann or Siemens industrial switches.&middot; Strong experience in system design, engineering, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting of SCADA and Substation Automation Systems.&middot; Knowledge of OT Cybersecurity concepts, IEC/ISA 62443 standards, and Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS).&middot; Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.&middot; Flexible to travel frequently and work on long-term site assignments.Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
