They will communicate any issues with order preparation and delivery with staff pharmacist. Description</b></h1>
1. Prepares medication and IVs, fills order request, cart fills and refills efficiently and accurately. 2. Processes orders safely, prioritizing needs. Repackages and labels medications appropriately. Investigates and processes missing doses of medications. 3. Fills emergency and stat orders in a timely manner. 4. Performs controlled substances responsibilities which may include delivery, inventory, returns, preparation and labeling and communication of problems or discrepancies to management. 5. Communicates with other hospital staff to provide information and resolve issues to improve patient care. Solves issues with missing medication, debits and credits, etc. 6. Maintains drug storage areas to assure items are stored in a clean and orderly manner. Checks and cleans expired medication area, updates lot numbers and expiration dates. 7. Performs aseptic and clean procedures when processing sterile and non sterile medication orders. 8. Documents fill list, manufacturing and repackaging, ordering unit dose oral solids and liquids. Assists with stocking and inventory control. Repackages medications from bulk to single units and updates lot numbers and expiration dates. 9. Performs other duties as assigned.</div><p></p>

Description</div><div>
1. Completes patient care (may include V/S, I&amp;O's, heights, weights, head circumference, ADL's and other patient care related assignments) in a safe, efficient and timely manner as delegated by licensed nursing staff.<br>

2. Documents patient care and other assignments according to department guidelines.<br>

3. Assists with admission, transfer and discharge as directed by licensed staff.<br>

4. Communicates patient/family information, specific needs and requests to other health care team members to assist with individualizing the patient plan of care.<br>

5. Acts as a courier between ancillary departments as needed to meet daily unit/department requirements.<br>
