Duties of the Assistant include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li>Dental operatory set up &amp; break down</li>
<li>Assist Hygienist/Provider with procedures and tasks as needed</li>
<li>Help other assistants stay on time as needed</li>
<li>Update general patient charting with documentation in a timely manner</li>
<li>Establish a rapport with all patients and validate treatment recommendations made by the doctor</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by team leader and department leader</li></ul>

We&rsquo;re seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be a welcoming face and voice of our practice. Working under the guidance of our Operations Manager, you&rsquo;ll support patients through every step of their visit&mdash;ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued. 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Welcome and check in patients with warmth and professionalism</li>
<li>Manage scheduling of new patients, recalls, and treatment follow-ups</li>
<li>Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and maintain accurate patient records</li>
<li>Communicate treatment plans clearly and support patient understanding</li>
<li>Use technology (dental software, tablets, digital forms) to streamline processes</li>
<li>Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Office Manager and clinical team to keep the day running smoothly</li>
<li>Stay compliant with HIPAA and OSHA regulations</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Dental knowledge a plus but will train the right candidate</li>
<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li>
<li>Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new systems</li>
<li>A compassionate, patient-first mindset</li>
<li>Experience with Open Dental a plus</li>
