JOB DESCRIPTION:<ul><li>Sourcing of new and/or potential vendors/suppliers of various materials intended for Fit-out projects and carpentry/joinery materials (wood, hardware and paint materials) and others as required for the project.</li><li>Review/prepares comparative analysis and evaluation of quotations from suppliers</li><li>Negotiating contract terms of agreement, pricing, shipment and delivery.</li><li>Track orders and ensure timely delivery.</li><li>Review quality of purchased products.</li><li>Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis.</li><li>Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.</li><li>Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is beneficial</li><li>Proven work experience as a Procurement Engineer or similar role with comprehensive experience in sourcing/purchasing of materials</li><li>Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).</li><li>Understanding of supply chain procedures.</li><li>Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create and conduct cost analysis.</li><li>Negotiation skills.</li><li>Liaise with logistics / procurement on deliveries</li></ul>DESIRED SKILLS:<ul><li>Strong ability to establish rapport with clients</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Must be able to speak and write very good English with a neutral accent</li><li>Excellent relationship management skills</li><li>Ability to work professionally in a multi &ndash; cultural environment and as a team player</li><li>Versatile and can work efficiently under pressure</li><li>Should be well equipped with decision making skills</li><li>With Advanced level of computer skills</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Procurement/Civil Engineering (or related): 10 years (Required)</li><li>ERP: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
