Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead School Age Teacher to inspire and guide children during their formative years in a dynamic educational environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners&rsquo; lives while working within a supportive team dedicated to excellence in childhood education.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for school-age children.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive discipline techniques and behavior management strategies.</li><li>Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to first aid protocols, CPR procedures, AED operation, and health guidelines at all times.</li><li>Foster an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and needs, including special education accommodations when necessary.</li><li>Coordinate and supervise recreational activities, sports coaching sessions, arts and theater projects, and other youth programs to encourage creativity and teamwork.</li><li>Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children&rsquo;s progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise.</li><li>Lead by example in promoting Christian counseling principles or values aligned with the organization&rsquo;s mission when appropriate.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, camp settings, or youth programs is essential.</li><li>Demonstrated classroom management skills with a proven ability to create structured yet flexible learning environments.</li><li>Experience in teaching young children or early childhood education is highly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques is required.</li><li>Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols are mandatory.</li><li>Background in special education or experience tutoring children with diverse needs will be considered an asset.</li><li>Previous roles involving babysitting, sports coaching, theater arts instruction, or Christian counseling contribute valuable skills for this position.</li></ul>Join us as a Lead School Age Teacher to shape the future by nurturing young minds through energetic engagement and dedicated care!Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hourWork Location: In person
