In this vital role, you will support physicians by documenting patient encounters in real-time, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring accurate medical records. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to grow your skills within a fast-paced, supportive environment committed to excellence.Duties<ul><li>Accurately document patient encounters in electronic health record (EHR) systems during exams and procedures</li><li>Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs</li><li>Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, X-ray coordination, and basic life support (BLS) protocols</li><li>Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies are ready for outpatient and inpatient visits</li><li>Record ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding details for billing and documentation purposes</li><li>Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, managing appointment flow, and ensuring comfort during visits</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience in hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient clinics, or hospital settings is highly preferred</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology</li><li>Experience with EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding practices</li><li>Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)</li><li>Ability to perform clinical tasks including vital signs collection, medication administration, and X-ray coordination</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and team collaboration</li></ul>Join us to make a meaningful impact on patient health while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment.
