Job Summary
Responsible for managing tire bay operations at the club level, managing tire sales, ensuring proper installation and repairs of tires, supervising tire bay team members, and maintaining tire bay and policies and procedures.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities<ul><li>
Supervises tire bay team members. Ensures tire bay team members work in a safe environment and are following all tire bay policies and procedures.</li><li>
Ensures proper scheduling and staffing within areas of responsibility.</li><li>
Responsible for the proper installation of tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires.</li><li>
Installs, sells, and repairs tires. Responsible for properly disposing of tires and ensuring propane tanks are filled per club policy.</li><li>
Maintains and orders tire installation equipment. Responsible for the safe and proper operation of tire bay equipment.</li><li>
Maintains a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area. Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.</li></ul><ul><li>
Ensures that knowledgeable service is provided to members at the tire desk. Coordinates with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.</li><li>
Maintains an accurate and complete supply inventory. Understands and appropriately utilizes available special-order tire programs.</li><li>
Responsible for monitoring tire bay sales transactions and handling cash transactions when applicable.</li><li>
Complies with safety and cleanliness standards. Manages tire bay audits, and checklists.</li><li>
Responsible for overseeing tire bay records retention policies and procedures.</li><li>
Responsible for ensuring all TIA Certifications, Titan Certifications are completed timely and on file for all tire bay team members. Reference PlayerLync to follow up on all additional trainings required for tire bay team members.</li><li>
Build working relationships with tire bay members. Motivate and empower each team member to see their own potential and to grow within the company.</li><li>
Complete and administer performance appraisals with each tire bay team member. Provide clear, constructive communication.</li><li>
Any person working as a Manager on Duty in the State of Florida must be able to successfully complete and hold a qualifier certification, through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This qualification is required by the state of Florida and any person overseeing retail propane operations must hold a qualifier certification. BJ&rsquo;s will pay for 100% of the training and cost of the exams to obtain this qualifier certification.</li><li>

Qualifications<ul><li>

Primary Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities<ul><li>
Maintains the operations of the receiving department, including matching received inventory against purchase orders and reviewing discrepancies in received inventory.</li><li>
Processes inbound and outbound shipments. Ensures all product pricing and signage is displayed.</li><li>
Ensures radio frequency (RF) guns are used when receiving merchandise.</li><li>
Makes sure all receiving paperwork is complete and accurate</li><li>
Separates pallets and verifies that pallets are in the correct selling or non-selling location.</li><li>
Supervises Receivers and/or Receiving Clerk. Acts as a mentor to team members in the receiving/inventory control department. Reports any issues to management.</li><li>
Communicate with Logistics</li><li>
Oversees and coordinates the delivery schedules</li><li>
Complete the department self-audit with detail and accuracy</li><li>

Ensures all safety equipment (e.g. dock restraint system) is in proper working condition.</li><li>
Ensures that the receiving / employee entrance is alarmed when not in use, that the receiving and overhead doors are properly sealed, and that the alarms are operational.</li><li>
Verifies the seal integrity of all trucks, including distribution center loads and frozen / dairy shipments.</li><li>
Monitors distribution center loads to ensure all high shrink merchandise is properly secured. Ensures high shrink merchandise is removed from the dock at the end of the receiving day.</li><li>
Confirms incoming and outgoing Direct Store Delivery (DSD) quantities and ensures they are processed correctly.</li><li>
Executes merchandise protection on designated items.</li><li>
Validates that all merchandise leaving the back doors has appropriate paperwork and approvals.</li><li>
Operates the compactor and cardboard baler and secures the equipment when not in use.</li><li>
Maintains all club policies and procedures.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.</li><li>
