BayCare is seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst II to join our Finance Division. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in accounting and finance who are ready to take on more complex responsibilities and grow into leadership.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
What You&rsquo;ll Do in This Role</b></p><p></p><ul><li>
Work independently within your area of responsibility, with periodic interaction across all levels of management</li><li>
Conduct research on moderately complex financial and accounting topics</li><li>
Serve as the financial representative for moderately to highly complex clinical or business service lines</li><li>
Prepare and enhance processes for financial analysis, reporting, and general accounting</li><li>
Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis</li><li>
Facilitate and analyze data for operating and capital budgets and forecasts</li><li>
Prepare and ensure accuracy of regulatory reporting</li><li>
Ensure compliance with capital asset management policies</li><li>
Coordinate charge master services</li><li>
Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks</li><li>
Begin developing leadership skills by participating in and leading low-to-moderate complexity projects within the Finance Division</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Required Qualifications</b></p><p><b>
Education:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting; OR</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance; OR</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Experience:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>
Minimum 2 years in Accounting; OR</li><li>
Minimum 2 years in Finance-related roles; OR</li><li>
Minimum 3 years in a related field</li></ul><p></p><p>
High-level understanding of EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) functions</p><p>
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</p><p>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Preferred Qualifications</b></p><p>
CPA certification (Accounting)</p><p>
Grant accounting experience</p><p><br>
