<div><b>JOB SUMMARY</b><br>
<br>
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional who uses the BSWH nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the health care team. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient's response. The RN promotes safe passage for their patients by using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients to transition through the healthcare encounter without any preventable complications or delays. The RN delegates interventions to health care personnel based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act, each patient's condition and the competencies of the employee.<br>

RN job is to be used for RNs in hospital inpatient and outpatient departments with 24X7 staffing which include those departments with on-call staffing on the off shifts. Examples of hospital inpatient and outpatient procedural areas: GI Lab, Pain Management, Dialysis, Infusion Centers and IV Services.<br>

<b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE</b><br>

Clinical Judgment: Using clinical reasoning, conducts accurate clinical assessments according to practice standards. Identifies and prioritizes patient and family needs. Develops, implements and evaluates the nursing plan of care. Modifies plan to meet clinical outcomes.<br>

Clinical Inquiry: Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, including, but not limited to, nursing sensitive indicators. Supports evidence-based practice changes through research utilization and experiential learning. Participates in quality/performance improvement initiatives.<br>

Develops therapeutic relationships with patient and family and maintains appropriate boundaries. The Sterile Processing Technician 2 performs a variety of duties associated with cleaning, sterilization, processing, organizing and distributing patient equipment, instruments, supplies and products used in the care and treatment of patients. May serve as a resource to Sterile Processing Technician 1 staff.<br>

<b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE</b><br>

Prepares rooms and organizes instruments, equipment, treatment trays and supplies for specified departments.<br>

Cleans and decontaminates instruments, containers and patient equipment using detergents and disinfectant solutions in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies and procedures. Operates semi automatic and automatic sterilization equipment and washers.<br>

The Program Manager is responsible for strategic design, implementation and management of programs and initiatives. Builds relationships with key stakeholders including employees, executives and vendor partnerships.<br>

<b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE</b><br>
<br>
Provides high level oversight of all vendor relationships to ensure alignment with and understanding of key strategies. Negotiates vendor contracts and measures vendor administration and performance to performance guarantees.<br>
<br>
Designs functional area Programs to support attraction, retention and motivation of a high quality and high performing workforce.<br>
<br>
Manages initiatives and functional area projects including program changes, ongoing education efforts, operations and vendor transitions to ensure employee understanding, smooth transitions and efficient and effective routine operations.<br>
<br>
Facilitates integration and transition in merger partnerships. Identifies cost effective solutions to actively manage the programs delivered to employees to provide the most value for the dollars spent.<br>
<br>
Consults with all levels of organization on business and employee needs in order to support strategic business objectives. Evaluates processes and procedures to identify opportunities for process improvement.<br>

Baylor Scott &amp; White Health is recruiting a fellowship trained, BC/BE Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join our practice in the Greater Austin Region in Texas.</b></p><ul><li>
This is a combination of inpatient and outpatient support. It is mostly outpatient general Pulmonary CC</li><li>
Outpatient Clinic is M-F 8am- 5 pm. We will build blocks into the schedule for hospital rounds.</li><li>
Call every 3rd week M-F 7am &ndash; 7 pm.</li><li>
