 We are currently looking for dynamic and self motivated Laundry professionals who want to move their careers forward.
 
 
 As a Laundry Supervisor you are responsible to ensure that laundry service, required by our guest is met on time and with the highest possible standards, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as-
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist Laundry Manager in enforcing policies, procedures, rules and regulations as per hotel standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise and monitor the performance of the laundry employees in order to maintain established standards and provide efficient service to the guests
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for proper handling of guest and house laundry and establish standards and procedures to ascertain quality of work performed
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with linen room to ensure that there is adequate clean linen and uniforms and maintain a neat work area
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up with engineering department on preventive maintenance and repair orders
 </li>
 <li>
 Check daily production according to priorities and assist in the activities of the maker
 </li>
 <li>
 Counter checks that all items processed are spotlessly clean as per hotel standards and guest satisfaction
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that laundry employees are knowledgeable about hotel services and facilities

 Education, Qualifications &amp; Experiences
 
 
 
 You should ideally have a degree or a vocational training within the laundry operation and previous experience in a similar role. Good command of written and verbal English communication skills are essentials and computer knowledge is an added advantage.

Laundry Supervisor

 We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Engineering professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
 
 
 As an Assistant Chief Engineer / Assistant Director of Engineering you are responsible to assist the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering on all matters related to the repair and maintenance operation of the physical plant and engineering facilities within the hotel, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as-
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain the entire hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and other related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the upkeep of guest areas to maintain an attractive hotel
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct house tours and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structures of the hotel, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces and verify completion of all repairs, replacement and renovation projects to offices and employee work areas
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow prescribed safety procedures for personnel and equipment by the company and OSHA
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain effective energy management and preventive maintenance programs and conduct special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel.

 You should ideally have a degree in mechanical and electrical engineering with at least two years experiences in a similar role within the hospitality industry. A good command of written and spoken English and the ability to find fault and rectify subsystems are essentials.

Assistant Director of Engineering

 We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Revenue professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
 
 
 As a Reservations Agent you are responsible to maintain effective communication on all reservations made to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery and your role will include key responsibilities such as-
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Process and confirm guest room reservations made by clients on the phone, letter or fax
 </li>
 <li>
 Input all reservations into the computer, recording all pertinent information and attend to inquiries, complaints and requests regarding reservations
 </li>
 <li>
 Remain up to date with all the promotions in and around the hotel and follow established procedures to process all room reservations, rates, confirmations, hotel facilities, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Show complete product knowledge, understand rate structure and apply rate management
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain established filing system for all correspondence and collate reports as required by Reservations Manager or Supervisor
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote and maintain good public relations and endeavors to maximize business
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain an accurate room status at all times
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all incoming calls are answered as per the Rotana standards, information received by fax is inputted and check constantly the incoming e-mails
 </li>
 <li>
 Organize visa request for hotel guest as per hotel policy and up-sell whenever an opportunity is identified
