We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of estimation processes, project management, and cost analysis. As an Estimation Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our project teams by providing accurate estimates for various projects, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and aligned with the company's financial objectives. You will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to develop comprehensive estimates that reflect the scope of work and project requirements.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for oil and gas projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.</li><li>Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary data for accurate estimation.</li><li>Maintain and update a database of historical cost data to improve future estimates.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and provide contingency estimates to mitigate potential cost overruns.</li><li>Prepare and present estimation reports to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in all financial aspects.</li><li>Participate in bid preparation and proposal submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements.</li><li>Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Support the procurement team in evaluating supplier quotes and negotiating contracts.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance estimation accuracy.</li></ul>Preferred Candidate:<ul><li>Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer or in a similar role within the oil and gas sector.</li><li>Strong understanding of estimation software and tools, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.</li><li>Professional certification in cost estimation or project management is a plus.</li><li>Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.</li><li>Commitment to safety and compliance in all project activities.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Cost Estimation: Proficient in developing accurate and detailed cost estimates for various oil and gas projects, ensuring all components are considered for a comprehensive financial outlook.</li><li>Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex project specifications and data to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.</li><li>Project Management: Strong understanding of project management principles, enabling effective collaboration with project teams to ensure timely and accurate estimates.</li><li>Software Proficiency: Familiarity with estimation software and tools, particularly Microsoft Excel, to streamline the estimation process and maintain data accuracy.</li><li>Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present estimation reports and collaborate with various stakeholders effectively.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

Estimation Engineer

To provide comprehensive HR/Admin services to work site areas and employees thereby contributing to their overall performance and the efficiency of worksite HR related issues.<ul><li>Assist with meeting minute taking as requested and distribution of notes following on from the meeting.</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate mail and courier package distribution, photocopying, opening mail and alerting team members of urgent or important matters</li></ul><ul><li>Creation of letters and reports</li></ul><ul><li>Telephones - messages</li></ul><ul><li>Office management and general clerical duties.</li></ul><ul><li>Dealing with queries, complaints, and requests for information.</li></ul><ul><li>Enabling and maintaining communications between project team members and other stakeholders.</li></ul><ul><li>Assisting in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports.</li></ul><ul><li>Supporting site management with day-to-day site activities such as booking deliveries.</li></ul><ul><li>Work related to the company&rsquo;s corporate social responsibility (CSR).</li></ul><ul><li>Providing support to the commercial and planning team as required.</li></ul><ul><li>Liaising with clients.</li></ul><ul><li>Briefing project teams, contractors and suppliers.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure all data entered Site Diary is accurate</li></ul><ul><li>Order and maintain stationary supplies and other miscellaneous office items required on site.</li></ul><ul><li>Establish and maintain efficient filing and archiving system</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate PPE requirements and distribute accordingly</li></ul><ul><li>Assist the HSE team in maintaining all necessary safety requirements on site, where required</li></ul><ul><li>Update project site board with company newsletters etc.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintaining and updating information and records such as site registers, and drawings using SharePoint.</li></ul><ul><li>Receiving, capturing, collating, and distributing information.</li></ul><ul><li>Document and revision control.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
