Position: Fire and Life Safety Engineer</b></p>
<p><b>
Location: Cairo, Egypt</b></p>
<p><b>
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering</b></p>
<p><b>
Experience: Minimum 2 - 3 years in Fire and Life Safety Design of Industrial Buildings, UAE Consultancy Experience preferable</b></p>
<p><b>
Roles and Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Carry out Preliminary design, Concept design, detailed engineering of all types of Loss prevention / Fire Fighting systems for Industrial, Commercial, Residential, power plants, onshore, offshore, tank farm, refinery projects, warehouse, substations buildings, ports etc.
</li><li>Design different types of fire protection systems such as automatic wet sprinkler system, Fire Fighting system, water spray deluge system (MVWSS &amp; HVWSS), foam system, Hydrant system, HPCO2, FM-200, Inert gas suppression system, Kitchen hood system, etc.</li>
<li>Prepare P&amp;ID and PFD as per project requirement for Fire water system/ Deluge system/ Foam system/ Fire pumps /Fire Suppression System. Prepare hydraulic models, Fire Pump Sizing, Hydrant Network Design.</li>
<li>Prepare MTO, Technical Submittals &amp; Technical documents.
</li><li>Design F&amp;G Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Prepare Cause and Effect Matrix</li>
<li>Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Engineers and any other design consultants.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with regulatory standards</li>
<li>Prepare detailed design, firefighting layouts, typical details</li>
<li>Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents ensuring compliance with technical requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare of Design Reports, Basis of Design etc.</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers, BIM Modellers</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Skills</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Good knowledge of NFPA Standards, UAE Fire Code, DCD requirements</li></ul><br>
