Job description</h2>
We are looking for full-time Licensed Therapists to join our team and provide outpatient services through our telehealth program!
Benefits: Our team works 100% remotely from their own homes!<ul><li>
W2, Full-time</li><li>
Compensation package includes base salary plus bonus!
</li><li>Monday - Friday schedule; No weekends! Shift options include: 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm CDT</li><li>

Additional compensation offered to bilingual candidates (Spanish)!</li><li>
We not only partner with commercial health plans, but are also a licensed Medicaid and Medicare provider and see patients across the lifespan</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Master's level degree and licensure</li><li>
Candidates must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States that does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future. At this time, we are unable to support employment authorization tied to temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses</li><li>
Work from home space must have privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes</li><li>
Fluency in English, Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages a plus</li></ul>
Skills:<ul><li>
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis</li><li>
Treatment planning</li><li>
Comfortable with utilizing technology at all points of the day, including telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools</li><li>

Overview
Our Nurse Practitioner (NP) plays a critical role in assessing patients' mental and physical health based on symptoms and complaints. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans, which may include conducting individual psychotherapy, diagnosing psychiatric disorders, and prescribing medications. NPs also order diagnostic tests, monitor patients&rsquo; medication use and side effects, and educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options. They must maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) while adhering to HIPAA, state regulations, and national standards of care.
Salary
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000.
Responsibilities
Treatment Planning &amp; Implementation: 75%<ul><li>
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, or evaluate treatment plans.</li><li>
Conduct individual psychotherapy for those with chronic or acute mental disorders.</li><li>
Prescribe psychotropic medications, including controlled substances, and educate patients on medication risks, benefits, and side effects.</li><li>
Monitor patients&rsquo; medication usage, side effects, and results.</li><li>
Evaluate patients&rsquo; behavior and response to treatment to assess the effectiveness of interventions.</li><li>
Educate patients and family members about mental health conditions, treatment plans, and medications.</li><li>
Work effectively with difficult patients, verbally deescalating when necessary.</li></ul>
Compliance &amp; Documentation: 15%<ul><li>
Document patients&rsquo; medical and psychological histories, physical assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and outcomes.</li><li>
Complete all patient visits and accurate documentation in the EHR.</li><li>
Practice in compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, national standards of care, and internal policies.</li><li>
Use recommended references and consult with the Clinical Director/Medical Director as needed for clinical guidance.</li></ul>
Patient Assessment &amp; Diagnosis: 10%<ul><li>
Assess patients&rsquo; mental and physical status based on presenting symptoms and complaints.</li><li>
Diagnose psychiatric disorders and mental health conditions.</li><li>
Distinguish between physiologically- and psychologically-based disorders and diagnose appropriately.</li><li>
Order appropriate diagnostic testing such as EKGs, lab work, and other forms of testing as needed.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
2 years experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner</li><li>
Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)</li><li>
Experience in Addiction and Mental Health</li><li>
Open to obtaining additional state licensures</li><li>
Motivational Interviewing experience</li><li>
Willingness to work in partnership with the client to achieve goals</li><li>
Must have experience working with adults in need of general mental health and/or severe mental illness (SMI) treatment
</li><li>Must have experience and comfort working with patients across the lifespan (ages 13yrs+)</li><li>
Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual-diagnoses.</li><li>
Treatment planning</li><li>
Ability to conduct and utilize comprehensive assessments</li><li>
Timely and quality documentation; experience with EHRs</li><li>
Adaptable to technology including telehealth software; comfortable with video communication</li><li>
Awareness of and compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2</li><li>
Eligibility to work in the United States. We are not able to provide or assist with visas or attaining work eligibility</li><li>
For clinicians holding a Florida or New York license, an active DEA registration is required and must be obtained and maintained by the clinician.</li></ul>
