Breakaway Cafe is looking for a creative, organized, and social media-savvy Content Creator/Social Media Manager to help grow our online presence through engaging photo and video content.We're looking for someone local to the Los Angeles/Westside area who understands current social media trends and knows how to create content that feels authentic, engaging, and on-brand. You'll be responsible for capturing content during scheduled on-site shoots, editing it into compelling social media assets, and managing the posting schedule across our social platforms.If you love great coffee, food, storytelling, and creating content that gets people excited to visit local businesses, we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities<ul><li>Capture high-quality photo and video content during scheduled on-site content shoots.</li><li>Create engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, and lifestyle content.</li><li>Photograph food, beverages, catering, seasonal promotions, and the overall caf&eacute; experience.</li><li>Edit content into polished, ready-to-post social media assets.</li><li>Write engaging captions that reflect the Breakaway Cafe brand.</li><li>Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok</li><li>Work with ownership to develop content calendars, promotions, and marketing campaigns.</li><li>Monitor engagement and provide recommendations to improve reach and performance.</li><li>Stay current with social media trends, viral formats, and platform best practices.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Must live locally in the Los Angeles / Westside area.</li><li>Experience creating content for businesses, restaurants, caf&eacute;s, hospitality, or lifestyle brands preferred.</li><li>Strong photography, videography, and editing skills.</li><li>Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar editing software.</li><li>Excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and short-form video content.</li><li>Strong writing skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage deadlines independently.</li><li>Passion for food, coffee, hospitality, and local businesses is a plus.</li></ul>What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who can take ownership of our social media presence&mdash;from capturing content to editing, writing captions, and posting.
