What You'll Be Doing
As our Maintenance Technician Lead, you'll perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks while supporting the Maintenance Supervisor in the daily operations of the maintenance department. Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Completing maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner, including repairs involving HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance</li><li>Assisting with apartment make-ready operations and ensuring vacant homes are prepared for occupancy according to company standards</li><li>Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor with daily maintenance operations, work order prioritization, and team coordination as needed</li><li>Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing fixtures, appliances, HVAC equipment, and other building systems</li><li>Conducting inspections of apartment homes, common areas, building systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns</li><li>Assisting with groundskeeping activities, including trash removal, pressure washing, landscape upkeep, and maintaining the overall appearance of the community</li><li>Maintaining accurate work order documentation and updating maintenance records as required</li><li>Supporting vendors, contractors, and onsite teams to ensure maintenance projects are completed efficiently and safely</li><li>Participating in the on-call rotation and responding to after-hours emergency maintenance requests as required</li><li>Following OSHA standards, company safety policies, and operational procedures at all times</li><li>Promoting a positive, safe, and welcoming community environment</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Who You Are
We're looking for someone who combines strong maintenance skills with leadership potential and a commitment to exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have:<ul><li>High school diploma, GED, or vocational training required</li><li>One or more years of apartment, building, facilities, or general maintenance experience preferred</li><li>Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance practices</li><li>HVAC certification and/or trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or related fields preferred</li><li>Ability to read diagrams, technical instructions, work orders, and safety documentation</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously</li><li>Ability to work independently while supporting and collaborating with maintenance team members</li><li>Customer service mindset with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors, and team members</li><li>Basic computer proficiency, including experience with work order systems, property management software, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel preferred</li><li>Ability to work overtime, respond to emergencies, and participate in an on-call schedule as needed</li><li>Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required</li></ul>

What You'll Be Doing
As our Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee the maintenance operations of the community while leading and supporting the maintenance team to ensure exceptional service and property upkeep. Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Leading, scheduling, training, and supporting maintenance team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service</li><li>Coordinating and prioritizing service requests, preventive maintenance programs, and repair activities to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction</li><li>Overseeing apartment make-ready operations and ensuring vacant homes are prepared for occupancy according to company standards</li><li>Performing and supervising maintenance repairs involving HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems</li><li>Conducting inspections of apartment homes, common areas, building systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and ensure quality standards are maintained</li><li>Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and community management to support property operations and capital improvement projects</li><li>Maintaining accurate maintenance records, inventory, work orders, and required documentation</li><li>Supporting community appearance through oversight of grounds, exterior areas, and property maintenance activities</li><li>Responding to emergency maintenance situations and participating in the on-call rotation as required</li><li>Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and all applicable safety regulations</li><li>Promoting a positive, safe, and welcoming community environment</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned</li></ul>
