<p>
Cardiac Catheterization Lab Pre and Post Registered Nurse is responsible for providing quality care to patients during the pre and post cardiac catheterization in accordance with department and hospital policy. The RN plans, directs and coordinates the pre and post care of the cardiac catheterization patient. The RN performs procedures such as TEE, Cardioversions and Loop recorders. Coordinates care with providers on the inpatient and outpatient services.</p>
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li><p>Prepares patients for a cardiac catheterization and EP cases. Reviews health history and medications.</p></li><li><p>
Notifies Cardiac interventionalist of any concerns with the patient.</p></li><li><p>
Cares for the Post Op cardiac catheterization and EP patients.</p></li><li><p>
Interprets 12 lead EKG.</p></li><li><p>
Performs TEE, Cardioversions and Loop recorders according to hospital policy.</p></li><li><p>
Proficient in all clinical systems and data entry.</p></li><li><p>
Ensures individual patient&rsquo;s rights including the right to confidentiality, privacy, dignity, safety, and comfort.</p></li><li><p>
Respond to cases of cardiopulmonary arrest, fire, disaster, or other emergencies in accordance with established procedures.</p></li><li><p>
Assume responsibility for own professional development, setting goals and striving to achieve them through available resources, such as attending seminars, in services and/or reading journals.</p></li><li><p>
Performs all other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul>
Requirements:
<p>
BSN preferred and a minimum 3 years of direct experience caring for cardiac patients such as CCU or dedicated cardiac floor. ACLS certification required. Proficiency in 12 lead EKG interpretation required. RI State RN Licensure required.</p><p></p><p><br>
The job is typically required to perform work through eye/hand/foot coordination most of a normal workday.</p>

Responsible for installing, operating and maintaining all heating, ventilation and cooling systems in the hospital.</p>
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:

1. Maintain proper temperatures and ventilation throughout the hospital. Maintain all control systems (electric and pneumatic) for AHU and chillers.</p><p>
2. Assure all medical gases are maintained at proper pressures. Test heating and cooling water and add chemicals as needed.<br>

Lead Med Rec Pharm Tech Trainer

<div>Job Summary:
<p>
Responsible for viewing and processing physician orders in the electronic medical record, transcribing physician orders when needed especially during downtime procedures, maintaining bed management records, accessing lab results on the computer, performing receptionist and clerical duties, and coordinating non-nursing services within the unit.</p>
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<p>
Initiate, assemble and maintain accurate, functional medical records for all patients in the assigned unit. Accurately view and process any physician orders in the electronic medical record. Accurately transcribe written physician orders when needed especially during downtime procedures and complete all necessary forms, requisitions and communications necessary to implement orders and record clinical data, as appropriate. Follows through to obtain missing information.</p><p>
Maintain a proper inventory supply of paper forms needed in order to provide continuous service, minimizing downtime and maintain a safe, clean and functional working environment in the nursing station and nursing area. Responsible for updates to all unit forms as well as managing their storage.</p><p>
Courteously, greet and assist visitors, screen telephone calls, and answer call buttons through nurse&rsquo;s station intercom or in person in the patient&rsquo;s room as applicable and direct to appropriate caregiver. Process mail and other correspondence. Make phone calls to relay patient information and schedule appointments as directed. Answer inquiries on procedures and policies relating to departmental functions.</p><p>
Prepare medical record upon discharge of patient.</p><p>
Copy medical records and obtain necessary discs for patient transfers/discharges to other facilities.</p><p>
Accurately maintain patient census management manually, as well as electronically.<br>
Assist with accessing or retrieving reports as requested.<br>
File documents following standard procedures; maintain medical records in a neat and orderly manner.</p><p>
Attend daily Interdisciplinary Discharge Rounds and keep the log of potential discharges for that day or the next day.</p><p>
Obtain the Advanced Directive List and Discharge Flag Report from the unit&rsquo;s printer for shift-to-shift safety huddles daily.</p><p>
Obtain the overdue lab specimen report from the unit&rsquo;s printer for distribution to the unit&rsquo;s RN and C N A staff daily.</p><p>
Hourly floating as necessary to fill in for open unit secretary areas throughout the inpatient units.</p><p>
Print lab slips as necessary especially during downtime procedures.</p><p>
Order; keep track; and file equipment (Wound VACs; specialty beds/mattresses) paperwork as applicable.</p><p>
Orient new staff members into the role of unit secretary to all the job responsibilities as indicated throughout the job description.</p><p>
Communicate pertinent patient care information and general information to the appropriate nursing staff.</p><p>
Performs all other related duties as assigned.</p>
Requirements:

High School diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience or equivalent are required. Basic computer skills and medical terminology are also required.</p>

Director of Clinical Informatics

<div><p>The Pharmacy Technician Courier is responsible for the safe and timely transport of hazardous and non-hazardous medications from the Kent Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy to the Oncology office in Cranston, RI. This position performs scheduled round-trip deliveries, ensuring medications are delivered securely and directly to Nursing staff and ADS in accordance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards.</p>
<p>When not performing deliveries, the technician assists the Inventory Coordinator with pharmacy inventory management and may be assigned general pharmacy technician duties as needed.</p>
<p><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Perform scheduled round-trip deliveries between Kent Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy and the Oncology office in Cranston, RI.</li>
<li>Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous medications in compliance with USP, OSHA, and hospital handling procedures.</li>
<li>Deliver medications directly to Nursing staff and ADS personnel while maintaining chain of custody and delivery accuracy.</li>
<li>Maintain delivery logs and documentation as required.</li>
<li>Ensure medications are transported in appropriate containers and temperature-controlled conditions when necessary.</li>
<li>Assist the Inventory Coordinator with:
<ul><li>Stocking medications and supplies</li>
<li>Inventory counts and restocking</li>
<li>Expiration date monitoring</li>
<li>Organization of pharmacy inventory areas</li>
</ul></li><li>Perform all other pharmacy technician duties as assigned, including medication preparation, packaging, labeling, and other operational support tasks within scope of practice.</li>
<li>Follow all hospital, pharmacy, and safety policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain professional communication with pharmacy staff, nursing staff, and clinic personnel.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul><li>Current Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician I license required.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Reliable personal vehicle required for daily deliveries.</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and acceptable driving record required.</li>
<li>Ability to safely handle hazardous medications following established protocols.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations preferred.</li>
