 Chef Middle East is one of the leading Food and Beverage Distributors in the region, is looking for a QA Coordinator - In Muscat, Oman. This role will be responsible to assist the QA Officer and maintain a management framework that incorporates and focuses on Quality Assurance and Health &amp; Safety issues in all aspects of the business.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Accomplish customers&rsquo; Food Safety assessment questionnaires and documentations required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to QA-related enquiries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare Corrective Action Request forms for customers and suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Filing and organization of various Quality Assurance documentations both soft and hard copies such as FSMS manual, procedures, policies, checklists and monitoring records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist QAO on administrative tasks, including word processing, editing documents, presentations, filing and handling various internal document requests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Author and update procedures and SOPs as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 (Dubai) Administer Food Watch BFS training requests and customer link approvals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate external audits in the absence of QAO if necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform monthly GWP and Vehicle Inspections in the absence of QAO.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other relevant responsibility required by Chef Middle East Management.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications and Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Postgraduate / Graduate in Biotechnology, Food Technology, Science, Engineering or minimum two to three years of food plant or FMCG related experience, including direct relationship with plant sanitation or equivalent combination of experience and education.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to effectively communicate with customers, managers, and employees alike
 </li>
 <li>
 Have a strong working knowledge of QA procedures and the legislation that applies to the food industry, including HACCP standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Preference for candidate with Basic or Intermediate Food hygiene training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be familiar with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
 </li>

Quality Assurance Coordinator

 Chef Middle East is one of the leading Food and Beverage Distributors in the region, is looking for a Sales Representative - HORECA for the Northern Emirates. This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting the company&rsquo;s products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsabilities:
 
 
 
 Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses. Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
 
 
 &bull; Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client; collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.
 
 
 &bull; Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department; troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process (for example, out of stock items, special order items, low inventory, etc.).
 
 
 &bull; Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, and customer events. Attend and participate in general sales and district meetings.
 
 
 &bull; Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special-order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data.
 
 
 &bull; Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, processing credits and pick-up requests, preparing sales quotes and menu suggestions, and filing reports.
 
 
 &bull; Participate in ongoing training sessions.
 
 
 &bull; Assist with the training of new employees as requested.
 
 
 &bull; Any other tasks as assigned by the Channel Manager or Head of Sales.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications and Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 College /University diploma or at least 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or
 </li>
 <li>
 equivalent combination of education and experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 2 -3 years related experience in customer associated sales.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be familiar with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be familiar with food products line and customer base.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have a valid UAE driving license.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preferably Arabic speaker.
 </li>
 </ul>
