Chewy is seeking a Senior Construction Owner&rsquo;s Representative to join our growing team and play a meaningful role in delivering high-impact construction projects that support our expanding footprint across fulfillment centers, corporate offices, and pharmacy spaces. What You&rsquo;ll do:

<li>Navigate through ambiguity and find opportunities to improve and establish construction methodologies, processes, and systems.</li>
<li>Apply experience and education to think critically and apply standard processes to ensure each project is optimized for success.</li>
<li>Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, and local authorities to ensure performance, compliance, and timely approvals.</li>
<li>Interact with internal peers and leaders to share updates, resolve roadblocks, and influence project decisions.</li>
<li>Transition projects from external partners (e.g., GCs) to internal Launch teams.</li>
<li>Ensure that contracted resources deliver work to meet duration and quality targets, addressing and ensuring the correction of under-performance issues.</li>
<li>Inform developers and contractors of projected changes in resource or work demand so that they can take appropriate action.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve clashes, design misses, and schedule conflicts with other execution teams.</li>
<li>Comprehensive budget tracking, forecasting, and management of assigned expansion, remodel, and new build projects.</li>
<li>Evaluate appropriate procurement and contracting methods for specific projects.</li>
<li>RFP generation, solicitation, and evaluation. Own contract negotiation and management for all third-party consultants and contractors.</li>
<li>Oversee the development of design standards and documentation of protocols. Uphold Chewy&rsquo;s standards for safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency throughout the build process.</li>
<li>Complete projects with limited oversight.</li>
</ul>
What You&rsquo;ll Need:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. CCM, PMP, or similar certification is a plus. Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li>
<li>7+ years of experience managing construction projects (industrial, commercial, retail, or fulfillment), preferably as an Owner&rsquo;s Representative.</li>
<li>The ability to travel up to 60% of your time.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of construction methods, procurement methods, contracts, permitting, and compliance. Proficiency in scheduling and PM tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).</li>
<li>Ability to operate autonomously, manage complex problems, and influence peers and participants through expertise and clear communication.</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous with strong organizational and time-management skills.</li>

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate&rsquo;s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
