<p>Education: High School graduation or equivalent or higher is desirable. Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible experience in secretarial and clerical work with at least one year experience in a school district highly desirable. Must pass the District Administrative Secretary IIB test, plus a hands-on evaluation. The Division of Human Resources requires a typing certificate from an accredited school or agency, dated no earlier than twenty-four (24) months before the opening date listed on the job ing on EdJoin. The typing certificate must be attached to the EdJoin application. Human Resources will not accept online certificates or e-mailed test results from typing websites. <p>Under general supervision, assists a certificated teacher in the instruction of students by directing various learning activities for individuals or small groups; performs a wide variety of routine clerical tasks in support of the instructional program and performs related duties as required.</p>

<p>Positions in this class are characterized by their responsibility to help students attain higher levels of scholastic achievement in the elementary grade (K through 6).</p>
