</b></p></div><div><p>Providence Preparatory Academy is a Christian, Classical, Collaborative-Model School now hiring passionate, professional, and skilled teaching staff. Grade-level teachers will be expected to work full days on the on-campus days and support parents on the satellite days.
</p></div><div><p><b>Responsibilities and Duties
</b></p></div><div><ul><li><p>Instruct students in a biblical worldview in word and deed
</p></li><li><p>Create and execute lesson plans
</p></li><li><p>Provide Weekly Assignment Sheets to guide and direct student satellite days
</p></li><li><p>Communicate regularly and effectively with parents (co-teachers) regarding student progress and satellite day assignments
</p></li></ul></div><div><p><b>Qualifications
</b></p></div><div><div><p>The following qualifications are required for any applicant
</p></div><div><ul><li><p>A Christian exhibiting spiritual growth and involvement in his or her local church
</p></li><li><p>A love for learning, love of teaching, and a passion for inspiring students in similar pursuits
</p></li><li><p>Hold a minimum of a bachelor&rsquo;s degree OR have equivalent curriculum, classroom, or scholastic experience
</p></li><li><p>Ability to articulate the Gospel and integrate it into lessons and classroom culture
</p></li><li><p>Ability to communicate effectively with parents
</p></li></ul></div><div><p>The following qualifications are desired for all applicants, but not required
</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Two years of teaching experience
</p></li><li><p>Experience with the classical model of education and classical curricula
</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in web-based school management software
</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
</p></li></ul></div></div><div><p><b>Compensation
</b></p></div><div><p>Teacher salary is determined based on qualifications and experience. The rates are competitive with current pay rates for similar private education in the Wilmington Area. No health or retirement benefits are included at this time.
</p></div><div><p>Salary: $14,000 to $16,000
</p></div><div><p>Schedule: Monday to Friday; only on campus for instruction on Tuesday and Thursday</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
