<div>Christie Clinic's department of Housekeeping is seeking a part-time (30 hours/week) Environmental Services Technician I from Monday-Friday 5:00pm-11:00pm at the University clinic in Champaign.
Duties include cleaning and supplying offices, exam rooms, laboratory and special medical procedure rooms. Cleaning of walls, lights, windows, vents, floors, carpets, sinks, rest room facilities, counter tops and other appropriate areas is required.
JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)<ul><li>
Clean floors, rooms and offices following established schedules and methods.
</li><li>Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly manner and re-stock supplies, as needed.</li><li>
Transport trash and soiled linen from collection points to designated area.</li><li>
Dust surfaces, damp wipe furniture and clean and polish metal and porcelain fixtures in bathroom.
</li><li>Assist in cleaning emergency spills as observed or requested. Sanitize and sterilize clinic areas and remove carpet spots.
</li><li>Deliver inventory to various departments with a minimum of interference to department function.
</li><li>Perform related work as required.</li></ul>
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li></ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
2 Years of Housekeeping Experience</li><li>
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for two years of experience or related service industry experience

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching and lifting up to 75 pounds. Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of maintenance equipment is required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a combination of office laboratory, exam room and special medical procedure rooms. Frequent exposure to dirty and unsanitary conditions, harsh cleaning agents, toxic chemicals, contaminated wastes and bodily fluids is common. Requirements include working evenings, weekends and irregular hours.

Environmental Services Technician I - Housekeeping - University - Part Time (Benefit Eligible)

<div>Christie Clinic's department of Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant at the Fields clinic from Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with no night or weekend requirements.
Duties include performance of skills through the delivery of patient care using a systematic patient assessment.
JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)<ul><li>
Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments prior to appointment.</li><li>
Clean and restock rooms at the end of the day.</li><li>
Perform chart preparation according to department standards.</li><li>
Maintain and update patient medical record upon visit including allergies, medications, etc. and enter into the electronic medical record.</li><li>
Appropriate use of flag system per standard work.</li><li>
Review and respond to the electronic medical record work list per department standard work.</li><li>
Complete lab order entries and appropriately handle patient specimens (including communication to patient per department standard work), as needed.</li><li>
Assists providers with procedures/surgery, as needed.</li><li>
Assist in patient education relating to medication instructions, procedures, wound care or any other necessary information pertaining to patient care.</li><li>
Perform related work as required.</li></ul>
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate and/or graduation from an accredited program for medical assistants</li></ul>

Medical Assistant - Gastroenterology

<div>Christie Clinic's department of Convenient Care is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Specialist on a rotating schedule, 3 days a week with availability from Sunday-Saturday 8:00am-8:00pm, including weekends and holidays on rotation.
Duties include greeting clinic patients upon arrival, assisting with the check in process, answering incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, collecting payments and assisting with the checkout or rescheduling process. They will serve as a liaison between patients and medical support staff. Duties will also include performance of skills through the delivery of patient care using a systematic patient assessment.
JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)<ul><li>
Greet patients and visitors in an efficient, professional and courteous manner and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to promptly answer a high volume of phone calls and schedule patient appointments with providers.</li><li>
Provide check-in process for patients.</li><li>
Verify and update necessary demographic and insurance information. Apply co-payments, as needed.</li><li>
Maintain provider schedules.</li><li>
Keep a neat and orderly work and lobby area.
</li><li>Ensure that the patient completes the router form.</li><li>
Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments prior to appointment. Clean and restock following appointment.
</li><li>Assist patient to exam room, take vitals, weight and height of patient. Enter information into the electronic medical record.</li><li>
Maintain and update patient medical record upon visit including allergies, medications, etc. and enter into the electronic medical record.</li><li>
Flag appropriate room for provider to see patient.</li><li>
Assist with procedures during appointment.</li><li>
Perform lab tests, treatments, etc., as directed by provider.</li><li>
Perform related work as required.</li></ul>
