The Director of Global Sourcing will be responsible for supplier evaluation and qualification and supplier relationship management. The Director of Global Sourcing is responsible for cross-functional collaboration with vendor and category teams in procurement as well as the primary contact for compliance groups such as Trade, Product, and Quality.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li>
Lead and develop the strategic sourcing team and foster a culture of continuous learning, cross functional collaboration, and operational excellence.</li><li>
Establish the strategic sourcing function on a global scale to achieve cost optimization, quality, risk mitigation, supply chain continuity, and build comprehensive sourcing strategies for all product lines aligned with overall business objectives.</li><li>
Create a global sourcing framework, implementing sourcing policies and business continuity strategies to establish and sustain a high-performing, world-class supplier network.</li><li>
Develop cross-functional relationships with merchandising, procurement, transportation, and compliance.</li><li>
Build and maintain relationships with key global suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement, and value creation.</li><li>
Lead negotiations to achieve optimal total cost, quality, delivery performance, and contract terms.</li><li>
Monitor and elevate supplier performance through issue resolution, tracking KPI&rsquo;s and developing a matrix performance assessment process.</li><li>
Analyze market trends and new supplier opportunities whose products align with the specific needs and requirements of Clark&rsquo;s.</li><li>
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build a supplier matrix through a new system to capture vendor performance, pricing, mitigate risk, and drive sustainable sourcing practices.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Physical Requirements</b></h2><ul><li>
Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.</li><li>
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.</li><li>
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.</li><li>
Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.</li><li>
Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Remote Work Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>
Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.</li><li>
Access to a home router and modem.</li><li>
A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).</li><li>
A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.</li><li>
The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.</li><li>

Experience</b></h2><ul><li>
Minimum 10 years in global sourcing, 5+ years in people leadership and/or mentorship</li><li>
Proven success in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationships.</li><li>
Strong international negotiation skills.</li><li>
Excellent communication abilities with cross functional teams and senior leaders.</li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
