We are seeking a detail-oriented, and experienced Compliance Officer located in Frankfort, KY, to oversee regulatory compliance for our skilled nursing state veterans&rsquo; homes. This individual will ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, with a focus on patient safety, privacy, quality of care and operational ethics. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and a passion for maintaining high standards of resident care.<br>

The ideal candidate will possess:<ul><li>
Ideal candidate has skilled nursing facility compliance experience
</li><li>Self-starter with audit experience in a long-term care setting
</li><li>Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance knowledge is a plus
</li><li>Excellent communicator, capable of clear, concise reporting
</li><li>Capable of working with multiple teams</li></ul>

</div><div><div><b>EDUCATION:</b> Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.</div><br>

<div><b>EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:</b> Must have four years of program compliance experience in a healthcare setting or a related field.</div><br>
<br>
<div><b>Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:</b> NONE</div><br>
<br>
<div><b>Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:</b> Additional experience in program compliance in a healthcare setting or a related field will substitute the education on a year-for-year basis.</div><br>

<div><b>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):</b> NONE

If this sounds like you, then you might be the ideal candidate for Legal Secretary at the Louisville Trial Office of the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy.<br>
<br>
In this important role in Kentucky&rsquo;s largest criminal defense firm, you will be acting as both a liaison between attorneys, clients, and other members of the community. You will also be expected to draft and edit a variety of documents, so excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - are a must. Time management skills are also valued as the ideal candidate will be handling multiple time-sensitive tasks for various attorneys, and the ideal candidate will be able to prioritize and complete requested duties independently.<br>
<br>
Knowledge of programs like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Courtnet, and other court related platforms is preferred.<br>
<br>
Our clients are people not able to afford an attorney who the government has charged with criminal offenses in Warren County. Compassion for our clients and commitment to our mission are critical characteristics for the successful candidate.<br>

A pleasant, outgoing personality both in-person and on the phone are also highly desirable traits for this position.<br>

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

</li><li>Prepare correspondence.
</li><li>Data entry.
</li><li>Answer phones.
</li><li>Greet clients as needed.
</li><li>Prepare and/or proofread legal documents for staff attorneys.
</li><li>Assist with other clerical tasks.</li></ul>
