Your Contribution:</div><ul><li><div>
Prepare, maintain and manage company compliance training program and privacy manual.</div></li><li><div>
Address potential HIPAA violations, investigating breaches, and reporting incidents as required.</div></li><li><div>
Work with IT and other departments to protect PHI and ensure organizational compliance with state and local laws &amp; regulations.</div></li><li><div>
Monitor and advise company of relevant changes in law, policy or guidance in health care and technology industries.</div></li><li><div>
Conduct thorough research on relevant legal issues, statutes, regulations, case law and other relevant materials.</div></li><li><div>
Prepare and review various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and compliance reports.</div></li><li><div>
Provide administrative and clerical support to Vice President of Legal Affairs and legal staff, including managing case files, calendaring deadlines, organizing documentation and correspondence.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Your Qualification:</div><ul><li><div>
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.</div></li><li><div>
Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar role, with experience in contract law, technology contracts or corporate law preferred.</div></li><li><div>
Knowledge of health care legislation (HIPAA, HITECH, 21st Century Cures Act, Government payers, Billing and Participation, Stark Law, Anti-back Statutes, etc.) and the best practices to facilitate compliance with the requirements.</div></li><li><div>
Experience in a fast-paced tech company.</div></li><li><div>
Flexible minimum of 40 hours a week with 3 days in the office.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
