Job Description:
As a Tax Manager, you will provide tax consulting, planning, and compliance services to a diverse client base within the real estate and construction industries. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex tax matters, identify planning opportunities, and achieve their business objectives. You will work closely with clients and engagement teams to deliver high-quality service while contributing to the growth and success of the practice.

Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Provide tax consulting, planning, and compliance services to clients in the real estate and construction industries.</li><li>
Perform tax research and analysis to address complex client issues and identify tax-saving opportunities.</li><li>
Develop and implement tax planning strategies tailored to clients' business objectives.</li><li>
Manage and review tax calculations, returns, and related work products to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships through responsive and proactive service.</li><li>
Lead multiple client engagements simultaneously while ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.</li><li>
Collaborate with engagement teams to identify, address, and resolve client challenges.</li><li>
Anticipate client needs and provide strategic guidance on emerging tax issues and opportunities.</li><li>
Mentor, coach, and develop staff in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.</li><li>
Contribute to practice growth through business development efforts and the expansion of existing client relationships.</li></ul> 
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation, LLM, or related advanced degree preferred.</li><li>
CPA license required.</li><li>
Minimum of 5 years of public accounting tax experience, with a focus on real estate and construction clients.</li><li>
Experience with real estate partnership taxation strongly preferred.</li><li>
Demonstrated success managing client relationships and leading tax engagements.</li><li>
Strong technical tax knowledge, including tax research and planning.</li><li>
Proven ability to identify and resolve complex client issues while delivering practical solutions.</li><li>
Experience developing and expanding client relationships.</li><li>
Strong leadership, project management, and staff development skills.</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>

Job Description:

As a Federal Tax Senior Associate within our Lead Tax Services group, you will play a key role in supporting large and complex engagements. This position focuses on delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base.
Responsibilities include conducting technical tax research, advising clients on federal tax matters, and assisting with the planning and execution of specialized projects. The Senior Staff is responsible for core compliance functions, including the preparation and technical review of corporate, partnership, S corporation, and individual income tax returns. Experience with consolidated C corporations, FAS 109 (ASC 740), FIN 48, and multi-state taxation is highly valued.
The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, and apply sound tax research and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Temporary Senior Consultant &ndash; Financial Crime Audit &amp; Testing
As a Temporary Senior Consultant in our Regulatory Compliance Financial Crime practice, you will work with a broad array of professionals who take pride in providing cutting edge industry AML and regulatory compliance best practices to assist clients in administering a sound and compliant AML risk management environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) laws; internal audit processes and best practices; risk and control matrices; and design/operational effectiveness testing. This position would focus on AML compliance independent testing and internal audit engagements at institutions of various types, including large and mid-sized banking organizations, MSBs, alternative payment providers (i.e. Fintech organizations), broker/dealers, and asset managers.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Develop, audit, and monitor compliance of BSA/ AML requirements for financial institutions of all sizes</li><li>
Execute across all phases of an audit, including planning, conducting process walkthroughs, developing/executing test procedures, tracking artifacts and reporting on deliverables</li><li>
Submit written or oral reports of audit results to senior management and audit committees including findings, analysis, conclusions and recommended actions</li><li>
Build and manage relationships with Business Lines across all three lines of defense</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>

Responsibilities<ul><li>
Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, workflows, and data to map opportunities for automation by leveraging process mining and task mining tools (e.g., Microsoft Process Mining, Celonis, Minit, Apromore, ServiceNow)</li><li>
Facilitation of meetings with business stakeholders to refine project objectives and demonstrate preliminary results.</li><li>
Participate in client engagements, including workshops, training sessions, and requirements gathering, to ensure that clients understand the potential of GenAI and can articulate their needs effectively.</li><li>
Assist the team and work closely with clients to identify and prioritize AI use cases, guiding them in aligning these with their business objectives and ensuring feasibility from both a functional and technical perspective.</li><li>
Demonstrate the viability of potential solutions and seek to disprove assumptions through data exploration, experimentation, and lightweight Proof of Concept buildout.</li><li>
Your key contributions are to user stories, testing requirements, and supporting documentation, in addition to the thorough analysis and validation of requirements to minimize ambiguity and support effective collaboration across development teams.</li><li>
Engage with your team to derive realistic effort estimates, embracing the iterative nature of early-stage AI development.</li><li>
Assist in serving as the liaison between the functional team and the technical development team, ensuring that client requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and that the solutions delivered meet client expectations.</li><li>
Assist in the functional aspects of AI projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.</li><li>
Assist in communicating with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.</li><li>
Assist in continuously assessing and improving the methodologies and tools used by the functional team to enhance client engagement and project outcomes.</li><li>

Lead Requirements Elicitation<ul><li>
Facilitates client sessions (workshops, training, and detailed interviews) to refine AI project objectives and clarify solution scope.</li><li>
Captures business objectives in well-defined requirements artifacts (user stories, process diagrams, data models).</li></ul>
AI Use Case Alignment &amp; Proof-of-Concept (POC)
<ul><li>Works with clients to assess feasibility and prioritize AI use cases (e.g., generative text solutions, predictive modeling).</li><li>
Designs lightweight proofs of concept to validate solution approach and disprove assumptions, leveraging data exploration and rapid prototyping.</li></ul>
Oversee Requirements Traceability &amp; Quality<ul><li>
Ensures thorough analysis of user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution design documents.</li><li>
Validates alignment of AI deliverables (models, workflows) with business requirements and project goals.</li></ul>
Collaboration with Development Teams<ul><li>
Serves as functional liaison for the technical team, translating stakeholder needs into technical specifications for AI model and system configuration.</li><li>
Reviews test scenarios, helps triage issues, and confirms delivered features adhere to user requirements.</li></ul>
Manage Early-Stage AI Project Tasks<ul><li>
Contributes to planning project timelines, resources, and deliverables; assists in deriving realistic effort estimates.</li><li>
Alerts project leads to potential scope changes or technical constraints discovered during iterative AI solution development.</li></ul>
Requirements<ul><li>
3+ years in a client-facing role, with demonstrable involvement in AI or advanced analytics initiatives.</li><li>
Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem for AI (Azure Cognitive Services, Azure ML, Power BI, Power Platform).</li><li>
Experience producing clear, testable requirements (functional and non-functional).</li><li>
Understanding of product/software development cycles; basic knowledge of MLOps or AI product development is advantageous.</li></ul>
Preferred Certifications<ul><li>
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) or equivalent.</li><li>
Intermediate-level AI or data certifications (e.g., DP-100: Designing and Implementing a Data Science Solution on Azure).</li><li>
