This is a full-time position that requires working at least 40 hours/week from Monday through Thursday.Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:&middot; Work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures&middot; Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area&middot; Plans details of work order procedures and gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job&middot; Prepares materials, fit, and weld per blueprints provided&middot; Grind &amp; polish welds to sanitary standard per blueprints&middot; Monitors the welding process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage&middot; Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered&middot; Performs other related duties as assigned&middot; Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately&middot; Collaborate with operators and engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve productivity&middot; Interact with coworkers to effectively complete tasksKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:&middot; Detail Oriented &amp; Organized&middot; Ability to read blueprints and tolerancing of parts accordingly&middot; Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models, and blueprints&middot; Familiarity with different sheet materials (grade, thickness, finish)&middot; Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines&middot; Effective verbal and written communication skills&middot; Thorough understanding of welders &amp; grinders used in the production of enclosures&middot; Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms&middot; Basic understanding of mathematics as it relates to welding assignments&middot; Self-motivated and able to recognize next steps in projects&middot; Must be able to see details at close range&middot; Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times&middot; Must be able to stand for an extended periodEducation &amp; Experience:&middot; Compliance with safety and quality standards&middot; High School Diploma or equivalent&middot; Manufacturing environment experience&middot; 3 years of welding and polishing experience preferredApplication Process:All applicants will receive an acknowledgement receipt of the employment application within two weeks.
