We are a rapidly growing, full-spectrum integrative and functional medicine clinic in Orlando focused on root-cause healing, evidence-based functional medicine, hormone optimization, longevity, prevention, metabolic health and truly individualized care. We just celebrated our 5 year anniversary and we hold the title of Orlando's Best 2024 &amp; 2025 AND Best of Florida 2025. We love what we do! Our staff includes 2 acupuncture physicians and 3 wonderful APRNs. Our patients are highly engaged, informed, motivated, and looking for providers who will listen, educate, collaborate, and guide.We ARE looking for someone who:<ul><li>Is compassionate, emotionally intelligent, patient-centered and has amazing communication skills</li><li>Loves educating and empowering patients and comfortable with shared decision making</li><li>Understands that medicine is both science AND human connection</li><li>Understands the nuances of functional medicine principles; thinking outside the box in a holistic manner is a must</li><li>Is collaborative, adaptable, and open-minded</li><li>Thrives in an integrative, innovative environment</li><li>Wants to continuously learn and evolve</li><li>Can critically think beyond conventional algorithms while still practicing safely and responsibly</li><li>Understands the art of balancing evidence, clinical experience, and individualized patient goals</li><li>Comfortable and confident in both prescribing medications but also recommending natural alternatives</li><li>Welcomes patients of all ages (pediatrics and beyond)</li><li>Appreciates paid administration &amp; chart prep time as well as unrushed appointments averaging 30-60 minutes</li><li>Desires a company that supports and respects work-life balance but can reciprocate the same support and respect</li></ul>Our ideal candidate is comfortable managing: <ul><li>Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) including testosterone utilizing the most up-to-date guidance and having a true passion for the art of hormone replacement</li><li>Hormone imbalances/dysregulations</li><li>Thyroid optimization (thyroid disease and subclinical)</li><li>Adrenal health</li><li>Primary care medication management</li><li>Medical weight loss &amp; metabolic health</li><li>Peptide therapies</li><li>Functional medicine &amp; root-cause approaches to &quot;all things functional medicine&quot; including: autoimmune conditions, gut health / microbiome medicinre, MCAS / histamine-related disorder, pediatric neurodivergent/ASD disorders, neuro-Immune dysfunction, dysautonomia syndromes, knowledge of genetics &amp; SNPs (basic FM knowledge), fatigue &amp; mitochondrial dysfunction, mold/mycotoxin illness (we have training available on these)</li><li>Longevity &amp; preventative medicine</li><li>Nutritional and lifestyle medicine</li><li>Integrative psychiatry / mood support</li><li>Complex chronic illness cases</li><li>Comfortable with off-label treatments (when appropriate): LDN, Leucovorin, etc</li><li>Knowledge of comprehensive, root-cause laboratory testing as well as specialized functional medicine testing.</li><li>Supplement knowledge (note, we believe &quot;less is best&quot; in regards to supplements)</li><li>Comfortable in identifying patients that would benefit from other services we offer, including acupuncture</li></ul>What Makes Our Practice Different: <ul><li>We prioritize relationships, not volume</li><li>We believe patients should be active participants in their care</li><li>We value transparency and authenticity</li><li>We avoid fear-based medicine and cookie-cutter protocols</li><li>We blend evidence-based medicine with holistic and functional approaches</li><li>We support provider autonomy, growth, and innovation</li><li>We are collaborative &mdash; not hierarchical</li><li>We care deeply about culture, attitude, and team dynamics</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Professional Expectations:<ul><li>Active Florida AUTONOMOUS (REQUIRED) APRN license *there are no supervising MD/DO-we only have APRN on staff.</li><li>DEA License Required</li><li>Family Nurse Practitioner due to the ages we see</li><li>Medical Malpractice required</li><li>Menopause Society Certified (bonus but not required)</li><li>Functional Medicine certification, training or seasoned clinical experience preferred</li><li>Long-term contract preferred - we are looking for stability for our patients and staff family</li><li>At this time, we are not able to consider practitioners that have their own practice and just temporarily looking to &quot;fill the gaps&quot;</li><li>Experience, confidence and comfortability in the aforementioned treatment areas</li><li>Ability to manage both conventional and integrative approaches appropriately</li><li>Strong communication skills and bedside manner</li><li>Growth mindset and willingness to learn</li><li>Must be compassionate, emotionally intelligent, professional and team-oriented</li><li>Must value collaboration and shared decision-making with patients</li><li>Reliability, punctuality, and strong attendance are essential. Chronic absenteeism or unreliability are not conducive to our practice culture or the level of patient care we strive to provide</li><li>Must understand the importance of consistency and continuity of care in a relationship-based practice</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Perks: <ul><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Part-time; 2 days per week THURSDAY &amp; FRIDAY</li><li>Hybrid model; the majority of your shifts are remote.
