Our River North practice is seeking a full-time, awesome, General Dentist to start in November/December! The ideal candidate is a skilled doctor focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry and is a positive impact to the employee culture! Piezos built-in to each chair, as well.</li><li>Best-in-class materials and products via Kerr (i.e. Simpleshade), 3M (i.e. retraction paste), Coltene (Alpen burs), and many more.</li><li>Provide ortho via Invisalign with a predictable system as part of training. Vivera retainers are considered standard at Dentologie (the retainer offered for the supreme quality).</li></ul>Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.</li><li>Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.</li><li>Correct bite issues and overcrowding.</li><li>Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.</li><li>Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics.</li><li>Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, to examine and treat teeth.</li><li>Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them.</li><li>Manage positively and communicate with team to provide outstanding care to patients.</li><li>Diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases.</li><li>Routine follow-up with patients whom you&rsquo;ve provided treatment via phone or email.</li><li>Manage both patient experiences and patient expectations to create a positive outcome.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Active IL state dental license (and malpractice insurance).</li><li>Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, thorough tx planning skills.</li><li>Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities.</li><li>Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.</li><li>Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work.</li><li>Ability to adapt to Dentologie&rsquo;s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset.</li></ul>Additional Perks and Benefits: <ul><li>Medical, dental, life, and vision insurance</li><li>401k w/Employer match</li><li>Flexible Spending Account, Dental HRA</li><li>Long/Short Term Disability</li><li>Upbeat team and fun culture.
