<p></p><div>The Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) will serve as the Chief of the Information Systems Security Management Section (ISSMS) within the Enterprise Security Services Office (ESSO) of the Information Technology Division (ITD).<br>

</div><div>In this role, the ITM I will have full management responsibility for the section. This includes directly overseeing a team of Information Technology Specialists I/II and consultants, and leading the organization, planning, and direction of all section activities. The ISSMS is responsible for FI$Cal&rsquo;s Program Management, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Security Engineering, and Information Asset Protection and Management.<br>

</div><div>Although the core duties of this position focus on the Information Security Engineering domain, the ITM I may also be assigned to support other domains as needed.</div>

</div><div>Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee&rsquo;s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. <p></p><div>At FI$Cal, in compliance with Executive Order N22-25, this position will be in office Monday through Thursday beginning July 1, 2026. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days and is subject to change. Our office is located at 2000 Evergreen Street, Sacramento, CA. Candidates residing outside of California are welcome to interview, but proof of California residency is required before appointment. Please note, relocation and commute expenses are the responsibility of the employee.</div><br>
