We&rsquo;re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) to join the team supporting the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal). In this role, you&rsquo;ll work independently leading complex IT procurement efforts that are essential to the success of California&rsquo;s financial infrastructure. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for planning, developing, evaluating, and executing procurements for a wide range of IT goods and services, including competitive and non-competitive acquisitions, leveraged procurement agreements, and high-risk or high-value solicitations. Your expertise will be critical in advising leadership and project teams on procurement strategy, market research, contract development, and compliance with state and federal laws.

Working primarily in the Business Technology Management domain, you&rsquo;ll conduct in-depth research and analysis to support procurement decisions, develop innovative solutions to acquisition challenges, and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. You may also take on lead roles in procurement efforts, train evaluation team members, serve as the Procurement Card Coordinator, and provide guidance to less experienced staff. <p></p><div><div>At FI$Cal, we currently offer a remote-centered position with the flexibility of telework up to three days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days and is subject to change. Our office is located at 2000 Evergreen Street, Sacramento, CA. Candidates residing outside of California are welcome to interview, but proof of California residency is required before appointment. Please note, relocation and commute expenses are the responsibility of the employee.<br>
</div><div>This position requires prolonged sitting in an office-setting environment with the use of a personal computer.
